Tora's the main character in a story a friend and I have begun...

she's a struggling comic book artist who finds her soul in an apocolyptic dream world battle where she's the last breath of hope for an emaciated world.

Since you've used Photoshop; what brushes and brush settings have you used? I could use some of that...

hey thanks!

i used the "drippy water" brush
to apply my colors, starting out
with different layers for each main block of color.

use the multiply setting if you have a black and white sketch underneath the white comes through with the color you've added and the darker values accentuate your applied color.

then it's just a matter of painting/alpha masking out certain area, and a tiny bit of smudging (cheating) :)

i dont know what it is, but i love this painting...
no offense, but that looks like a plucked chicken on her head!
colors and textures are great too, no crits, far beyond my abilities!
