I am hoping that there will be more people joining the current topic, lol for some reason this one and the last one are funny topics, I shal request someone draw arnold as a nun :) . Also if any noobies here want some advice i wrote up a thread explaining how i learned, how i got past those drawings blocks, and how i go about drawings here and there.

In a post-apocalyptic world gone mad, the old borders have fallen and everyone has flocked towards religion. Even Aethiaism has become a sort of religion. In this world religious leaders have turned practical and became fighters for humanity, in their struggle against the horrors that have arisen out of the nuclear ashes.

sunny: I thought nuns were women :P ? its good either way, the gun looks nice and i like the smoke

Bilb : awesome style I like it alot , I think the gauntlets add SO much to it, well done!

Payback : western style , but I cant really figure out what shes supposed to be doing, kind of just screaming and waving her arms around in nun-fury?

Hamsta : i like your sketh but I think your digital coloring has too much of the sketch showing and not enough painted work to make it very strong

Goran: shes wearing an eyepatch yes? It looks really nice, the leather is great, I think the blood is kind of tacky but thats just me , good job

Billb: I like it, it has a joan of arc feel to it. Every part of this is done nicely, Personally i think it would look nicer if the feet were conceiled. The gloves look off to me.

hamsta: the digital coloring looks fine but you should have a depth of feild. i like your second attempt. gj!

sterling crispon: i like what you did with this generally. i think it looks more like a ninja than a nun hehe. The face doesnt seem to fit the body. If i were you i would change the face. hide it in darkness.

hehe thanx craig, ya i thought of going totally arnold and comando style but I couldnt realistically beleive a nun with guns. I could imagine a movie like van hel sing possibly using such characters. Just thought a bit humor would suit it.

Here are my sketches. I did a quick paint-over in Painter using airbrushes on a multiply layer just to say I put a little effort into it. I was trying to knock the rust off my old drawing pencils today at a local coffee shop so that's why it is on scanned paper instead of 100% digital as I'm used to doing.

So, I was all set to go to sleep. I think I even fell asleep for a while. Then, I woke up, this image popped into my head and well... if you let images like this run around in your mind, they make for a rather restless night, so I had to draw/paint it. And now it's 4am, and I have to get up in 5 hours... oh well... 2 hours well spent I say!
