Hey everybody,
I'm considering getting some magazine subscriptions and would like to hear your suggestions for someone who loves concept art, illustration, badass art in general, and military history.
thanks

Military history mags will depend on which era you're looking at.

There are military history mags for the American Civil War, WW2, Vietnam because these battles are not exactly well documented. But modern conflicts are better covered by the media and you could probably find good picture books on them.

Also depends on what exactly you're looking for. Tactics and Strategy? Hero stories? Weapons and Technology? Its a huge variety of things.

Mostly I read Scientific AMerican, Discover Mag, Pop Sci for my tech and science ideas. TIME and NEWSWEEK has loads of current era political and war stuff. Specialised magz like Guns and Weapons for Special Forces and Air Forces Monthly are great for keeping track of advances in weapons.

I mostly buy books when I can find good ones. Magazines are more for information...books for good pictures.
