Well, then I must say tht it was one hard month well spent. I'm not going to criticize you here, I am stunned at this pieces awesome beauty (added it to my favorite pics without question), but I had a few comments.
It seems as though the piece is caught in limbo somewhere in between anime and realism. Look at her coat and contrast that to her face and legs. The same can be said with her weapon.
Maybe a slight touch up on the hair would give the picture that final push into Jaw-dropping. I mean, it's there, but it could be THERE, if that makes sense.
Keep it up. Your work is stunning and I have no doubt at this rate you will be a master of the professional craft.
Scrolling back down and looking at it some more, scratch the first comment for me. I am going to say that I LOVE the way the realism and anime mesh to create a unique look that really captures the essence of detail. Wowzers!

Stunning piece! Wonderful composition....my eyes keep scanning the pic for more previously unseen details. However, like klinesmoker said, her hair seems a bit off to me. Was this painter or photoshop? Could you possibly posts some WIP's ??? Man do i like a foxy girl with a big sword!

Asian-style abstract surrealism!!
I dig it, awesome work man.
Only complaint - perhaps more colors to variate the pallete a little bit.

nice pic. Her (her) right leg is about a 1/5 parts too long though. Seems to have gotten exagerated by the walking movement you wanted to achieve.
You might also want to seperate parts of the backrgound a little bit more so the figure/her weapons thing, doesn't blend in so much with the background.
It's late, so my eyes are a little tired ( so it might just be me, right now), but because it all blends, and you're using a lot of hard angles, it is a little harsh on the eyes.

Very very thanhs to ya all comment that make me improove my works.
Ah! to Mr.sunny
The first brush I use is round brush that have a blend edge that make a zoom size sharp and max size blend that's a very very one most flexible of mine to make it all.
The other is flat brush in heavy brush preset that U can load from the program,I fix the flow about 4-9 to make a great colorpencil scratching to finish the texture.
About drawing I paint a cover layer above them to finish.
that's all

Great, great work. It is like a dream.
It's so good I don't want to critizice....it would be stupid !
Have you used a wacom, or a cintiq ? Some artists just don't like them. Adam Hughes ( comic-book artist ) does some tight pencils and inks and the he uses his mouse, as you do....
nice work again !

Anyway, very nice work mate.

this one is 100%works.
This one is use for a tutorial book that will be on sale in thailand, that I explain all every thing I did but...........that's all thai language.
About my own technic I use a large round brush to make it all and a small brush(about4-5pxl) to stroking like drawing include with eye dropper tool to blend,so this technic is require a hard hand stroking that suit for a mouse(for me :dur: ).Before this one I used to work with wacom that can't be make a hard stroke like this, that's why I still use an ordinary mouse.

i like the mixture between "classical" anime stuff and the realistic side of the painting. the result is of my taste and i also like how the light colors -the "white" ones- have been painted.
there are a lot of technological machinery in scene and you have managed not to overload the picture with many complexity and i feel it with some kind of nice balance.
good. :eyecandy:

This is really nice! Despite the possibility that the CA community might gang-beat me for suggesting this ;) , you should try throwing a sharpen filter or two on this and see what you think. The only thing that bothered me, (aside from the proportional issues that other people mentioned) was the overall softness of the piece. I think a sharpen filter would really do the piece justice. Excellent work regardless!
