we will not be doing any other workshops this year in the states until at least 2006 and may not do another at all. if we meet our attendance goals we may consider one in Prague next summer. Until we do meet our goals though, I consider it as the last workshop we will ever do. Simple as that. This exact group of artists has never come together and probably will not ever come together like this again. We are fortunate to have this happening.

Please keep this thread for those who are signing up. If you have signed up there is another thread. If you won't be coming, then we hope you enjoy the pictures and videos. :)

I will be sending my payment via paypal on december 10th, you can count on me being thier. Just had to wait a little longer to gather all the money. Heck, with the line up of amazing artist teaching at this workshop. I wouldn't miss this for anything in the world. This workshop is like the Oscars. It's the only onetime of the yr. you'll get to see so much talnet under one roof. My friend already reserved one of the hotel rooms in SF.

P.S Even though this will be my first time attending Concept arts Workshop. I have to say; I've heard really good feed back from others in my schoool, that have gone to pervious workshop. They've stated how much of an impact it had on thier art. Also the amount of people they were able to meet, network and share the same goals and ideas was amazing. I really hope Jason... that you and the other fellow artist just decide to take a break from doing this and decide to do another workshop later down the road in the U.S. AS of today your the only group of people that I've seen injecting this type of knowledge to up coming artist wanting to break into this field. Last note, and if you do decide to finally not do this at all again, then you should gather the same roster of artist and make teaching videos like Gnomon workshop. hint hint..

EDIT: By the way, Jason, I know several people who are dying to attend, but found out at too short of notice to gather the money together. I know that if you continue to do this for us, people will continue to come. I am really excited about this opportunity, and this is the only workshop of its kind that I know of, so just know that I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and that we all appreciate your enormous efforts. paypal monies have not been deposited yet to banks in some cases. we have a new bank specifically for conceptart.org and are waiting for that stuff to get done before transferring the current tuition held in paypal.

I would love to attend! The money just isn't there right now. This is a great thing though--I hope you are able to continue it in the future. paypal had charged multiple people multiple times on their cards for one order. We decided that we can not support their company and by running orders over the phone, there is a lot more money going to the site instead of paypals coffers.

We have big plans for the site here. More info will be revealed at the workshop and announced on the forums shortly after. The forums will change in some really big ways this year. I can't wait til its all done.
