Yukmouth commission

This is a little illustration I did for a B & W underground hip hop magazine. It's for an article on this rapper named Yukmouth who played with the Luniz (hit song " I Got Five On It") a while back and has gone solo. He likes the thug image so portrayed him as such.
The line weights are a little random and I'm not too happy about the area where the chains converge under his chin, but overall I'm pretty pleased. I'll probably colour it for my portfolio. If anyone else wants to try, be my guest.

That's pretty good looking.

Two things. Is he not meant to have pupils? The arms (mainly the fingers) look kind of skeletony. Don't know if that's good or bad.

tyboogie: Thank you! Teeth have to be one of my favorite things to draw.

mtw: Yeah the sans pupils thing was intentional. He looks more "thuggy" this way. The hands...well what can I say? I'm a sucker for gnarly hands and I don't think they compromise his identity (at least not anymore than the fact that it doesn't look much like him anyway:D ).
