Been awhile since i finished a painting, every time i seem to try to do one painter7 corrupted the file... but it seems saving them as .psd has stoped that. Hope you like it.

- Painter 7

I like it. :)

First thing that came to mind was that he has to be a boxer, because of the red face, his "boxer's nose", and the naked upper body, but then he has headphones on, so....

-I'm now thinking he must be a boxer just coming from a fight, and doing radio/TV interviews! :D

I'm sure you had something else in mind, but that's what i see. :)

Nice work.

i don't even know what he is... i didn't have a plan the whole way through, just thought it would be neat to add headphones :\

Here is another no planned drawing...

Great helmet, nice to see something so different. Has a nice retro feel, I just want...

More Spacegirl!
Perhaps in action kicking alien butt, if that is in deed what she does....

i dig the colors on the first one.

one suggestion. when drawing faces it helps to try and imagine the skull underneath the skin. for example,, the corners of the mouth 'When relaxed" should should line up with where your teeth come together at the bite. the mouth on this guy gives the impression that his lower jaw is quite thin. i would bring the jawline down personally.

always think of the bone structures under the skin. you did good with the collar bones and upper body area.

thanks, thats a really good tip. I usually just throw up my images before analyzing the actual anatomy :\

I am with Lono! This colors are greatly chosen!

You should do/post more paintings...i like them more than your sketches...the colors are fresh and powerful! Also nice use of different brush types! Keep it up, davi! :)

MindCandyMan: Hehe, yeah they are a bit too addictive, but i love it and we needs it. we we don't. yes we do. you wouldn't be here without me. i don't need you. yes you do. go away.

Landmate: From you that's a great compliment. :)

usagi yojimbo: I think i've taken a fondess of drawing boxer styled noses on guys and african styled lips on females.

It's beautiful.. she's beautiful.. heck black is beautiful! :D
No idea what you'd have to change.. make sure her eyebrow is viseble underneath that patch? Just guessin cause it looks freekin sexy to me. ;) Too much detail might do it wrong.

All those images are great! The two "colorful portraits" are just brilliant. The first is strangely stylized and ... just the way he's looking at the viewer. I just wouldn't want that guy looking at me like that!!! Hehe. I love it.

The second colorful portrait = flawless. The lighting, the colorful highlights... (gasp!)

The astronaut girl is just sexy... Those lips!!! Moonsex, ahhh

I love your stuff. Love it!

AH!! I just replied to the first page without realizing there was a second...
God this is an excellent series, the face to the side, yell/scream. Oh man...
If only I had your color knowledge. Also I gotta mention your stuff isn't "overworked" at all. Real spontaneous looking. Great!
