Whats your Muse??

I want to ask everyone to share what the thing is that drives them like nothing else to create.
What brings the lucid visions flowing in?
Whats is the thing that has you reaching for that pencil/stylus/mouse?

I would say getting that really inspired moment is one of the best highs you can experience and im curious to know what does it for the rest of you.

sometimes i get those drawing flashes.. i just sit in front of my pc/tv and *BLAM*.. i just have to draw something, these flashes even come with a cool idea what to draw most of the time..

or sometimes i look at the work of some of my favourite artists and suddenly i get the urge to draw something..
probably because i feel lazy, just looking at their stuff, not doing anything myself.

Nacho - yeah i know what you mean. You see a flash of something in your head and you frantically try and get it down on paper before it disappears. hehe and then theres those times you get all of your best ideas at 2am while working on homework, just so you can have something to keep you distracted.

I also tend find alot of inspiration from some pretty mundane stuff. Here is savannah about half of the buildings in town are ancient and falling apart. You see some of the most amazing textures around, everything seems very authentic in a way.
Also being in art school here is great. Theres alot of creative energy in the air to feed off of. Thats another reason im glad i got involved with this board as well...alot of enthusiasm.
