:O :O :O

LOL nice nipples O_O
cool lines
cool volume (light shadow)
funny nose :----
smooth pose

but...the best thing... i love are the lines u take to indicate the shadow and light .. all the small tiny lines u draw - inbedded into the body outlines - to make the thing volumetrical .. truly awesome :D

how much time u spend to complete this one ?

*pulls nipples hard* ;) :bashful: ;)

yes yes .. patience is the key ... <3

Awesome drawing Killing! I'm flattered dude :bashful:

Great job with the hatchings, the lines going over the arm and around like a wire frame are the key to hatchings. describing the form as it were. Some of the anatomy seemed a little fishy but I couldn't put my finger on it so I did a paint-over.
http://www.kempart.com/posts/killingover.jpg

Basically I just did all of the checks that i run through my head when I'm drawing something like this. Mainly there are some skeleton land-marks that can punch it up a little, like on the wrist and elbow of the right arm. You did a great job on the left arm elbow and wrist and those hands are solid. Also the waist looked a little ambiguous. The fold of fat and muscle that bulges at the waist usually hooks onto or hangs over the pelvic protrusion (really exaggerated in greek/roman sculpture). [an' I realize it's a work sketch] Landmarks vary with body types, so my suggestions are also not always evident on all figures (muscle dudes, for instance, have muscles that wrap over land-marks)

That neck looks great tho, really looks like an old dude's flabby chin stretched around :)

I'm not sure I've mentioned it before but I owe you some thanks. When I first found CA I amazingly stumbled into your thread, Rusty's and Lukias'. Man I was floored! Those guys are good but you're right up there with them. You had this one page of heads in a crowd that changed with fish-eye perspective! man that was cool. My point is you guys lit a fire under my ass, I was amazed at how much awesome stuff could be in just a sketchbook (all SB's I'd seen in real-life had been bla...) I've always been interested in this stuff but It was great to see awesome sketchbooks with similar/bizarre content. So once again, thank-you Killing  your old SB will be sorely missed - luckily we've got this one :)

--> does it say patience because it took forever? hatching is a bitch :tihi:

11.30.04 wip horror concept - 0.5 mechanical lead on printer paper

this concept is an assignment for a character design class. we are to create a "bump in the night". the baby's head and torso was first sketched out last friday, the 26th, in class. i taped another sheet of paper on and worked out something for the legs sunday, the 28th, at work. i finished working out some issues and began rendering it tonight (29th/30th).

JOSHUATHEJAMES
haha, that's nasty! and thanks for the comment, i'm a fan of your work - your linework is very fun.

Burning Eyes
hello, and thank you.

steak-tron
thank you very much for taking the time to create a paintover and throw me some tips man, that is badass. i am pleased you picked out some of my weak areas, they are all but blind to me! i kind'a know of landmarking the body, i do not pay much attention to it when i draw, however i can see its value. i will be watching for the landmarks you've mentioned as well as discovering landmarks of my own on figures and bring this to the front of my mind for future use - excellent, thanks!

patience -- i have been trying to slow down. i looked up the definition of the word in hopes to better understand it. i wrote the word down because i was amused by a definition of the word. it is a human quality that i had always envied due to my hatred of both my impatience and the impatience of others. but after looking it up, having patience also showed a bad side.

"Synonyms: patience, long-suffering, resignation, forbearance
These nouns denote the capacity to endure hardship, difficulty, or inconvenience without complaint. Patience emphasizes calmness, self-control, and the willingness or ability to tolerate delay: "Our patience will achieve more than our force" - Edmund Burke"

there is a quote that i like that goes something like this:
"control your appetites my dears, and you've concured human nature"

a half wishes control and order, while the other wants explosive mayhem :a!:

Jamaludin hello,
i am always creating something, i'll be sure to share my 3d work as i create it. i have felt rather burnt out and spread thin the last 6 months, i am taking it easy lately.

-sideshowbob-
i spent a good 4 hours on it i'd guess (at work! - shh!). it was on and off. i'm really slow compared to most and i am okay with that, there is no real hurry.

holy %$#@! That baby is creepy. I can only look at it for a few moments before my body literally rejects it. When a sketch can do that to me that's .....moving for lack of a better word to describe fear and revulsion and being impressed.

good job,

obi

Very Cool on those last two! :)

The baby pic is especially nice, the hands are beautifully rendered, those fleshy fingers leap off the page. Nice moody pic on the ps paint too.

That definition is interesting, it seems that allot of what it describes are qualities artists must have. We have to suspend instant gratification and see goals and abilities achieved over periods of time slower than other activities, as well as endure endless bad drawings to resolve errors through trial (but not without complaint ) I think patience is a virtue, but like humility is devastating in large doses. It's good to be patient but not resigningly so, the more I try to describe my process or just analyze it I come back to the whole thing being a balancing act. For myself, I easily slow down too much. I have to force myself to keep moving on to the next thing, consciously working faster has produced some successful drawings... and some shitty ones. It's common for something to be over-rendered to where everything done in the beginning is completely done away with.

That's getting a little ahead. My point was that if you don't have some impatience or ambition you will never (in my experience) get mad enough to over-come your weakness. On the other side of the coin, many throw down the pencil from a small attention span. It's also not true that any of us do this to enjoy "long-suffering, resignation and forbearance".

If we talk about how this applies to people that's a different matter altogether :)

Your quote sums it up beautifully

really cool ones !

i like all of them, tho the last portreit...the red in the bg and on the shoulder, it throws the colors of, i think it would look better if you had some sort of yellow tone instead of the red one, BUT im totally in love with the beautifull vibrant yellow color you have around her eyes !

i like the first pic you posted, but it maybe would look better if the contrast was higher, forcing the bright areas to be truly bright..

dont stop posting, you should draw more and post more, i like em alot !

cheers !

since i had first seen them, i have always been intrigued by Bengal's (http://www.cafesale.net/bengal/shop.php3) more fun and erotic esthetics in her beautiful artwork. heh i can easily sympathise with Prometheus|ANJ's (http://www.itchstudios.com/psg/) obsession with panties, both are very gifted artists.
i have problems with anatomy, especially with the female. it definately has my attention. although my lack of experience and knowledge of female anatomy crippled my attempt, i do like the end result of this sketch. she does look a little trans, or guyish ... she also has this illegally-young look to her. areas that suggest otherwise gives the figure a midegeted look. heh

DreadRok hello,
there are tons of little tricks to combine two concepts. something that you mention is a very important one imo, being to keep a consistant style. this among other things will help harmonize two different elements. creature designs are a fun balance. thanks for the comment, man.

hurricane hello,
thanks for the great input. i agree with your comment about the contrast on the first guy. i kinda like the red in the portriat piece, i can see where you are comming from however. i'll post when i can, thanks.

steak-tron
i totally agree - it's all a balance, constant changing. ;)

obi_e hello,
aah cool, hearing your reaction makes me smile - it was what i had hoped for. my thinking in this creature was to take something i personally was afraid of (deformed babies) and use elements of widely common and natural fears (centipedes) to sort of pursuade the viewer in a way. thanks for your comment.

arghmisfit hello,
no promises

(click img to enlarge)

i hope this doesn't upset anyone. but i'm just going to post my 3d stuff in here as well so people don't think i am dead; the beauty of a digital sketchbook, eh? i want to one day become a modeller/texture artist for a game company.
i named these strips of mesh bo redway. bo redway is the name of a character i wrote into a story i created in highschool. hehe, i liked them, but my stories sucked, they had no purpose, they were just detailed and stylish worded scenarios with no reason or meaning, they were just interesting. having meaningful purpose is difficult.

also if you could give me some tips or anything on your crosshatching method that would be awsome too because i really like your rendering on that baby too... I cant seem to get rendering right.. :dead:
but thanks man.. you are the guy !

http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail57.html

ahh damn, that is a question isn't it..

tricks
these "tricks" i was talking about are not necesary, but i feel they do add to a concept. it is all up to you as a designing artist. i am no intellect on this, i haven't even clarified much personal thought on the topic. it's rather extensive, and i may not answer with what you are looking for, nor do i really want to type a buch of crap up. ;P maybe i can just give you an idea of where i am so you know what type of things i am refering to better. there are lots of things to be aware of and i say this because i keep finding more, the more i think about what i am doing and actively play with. what i mean by actively playing is pushing myself to be creative in the design process by not relying on the same tricks i always rely on.
the list goes on, i am sure there are billions of things i have never thought to incorporate into my concepts. shit, i am rather constrictive with my subject material if you ask me. but i digress.

such a delicate topic..

a concept like this centipede baby i have been working on, i combining two different subjects. something to be aware of is the flow of the two concepts. a large problem people have when combining two elements to create a new, is they do not mix their ingredients well. the transition from elements should be gradual and appear natural. a large problem i see with something like this is an artist will create something very abrupt, unless it is the effect you desire, it kills the believability of your concepts.

be aware that when i am refering to subjects, i am not always refering to the outside of a creature. if you want something that looks unique, you have to think uniquely as a designer. think deeper than what you can see.

also be aware that when i say elements, i do not necesarily mean subjects (a baby and a centipede). like i mentioned before, it becomes a delicate balance when you are trying to achieve a certain mix of elements.

if those subjects are not transitioning the best, or are very abrupt, you have other tools to meld the two better, like we i had mentioned earlier: the style used, such as my shading and use of line. it helps unify the two concepts. you can even mix these styles. imagine the bottom half stippled, and the top cross-hatched. depending on your desire, you can transition these qualities differently - apbuptly, 1/4 center area transition, incorporate music, water, a transition from head to toe, a random mix, the face of jesus, denote status or textural qualities of surfaces, etc, etc.
this is what i mean by being creative and just being artsy. i just sued the same rendering technique. i mean, you don't have to do anything whacky, but if it sounds interesting to you, you are going to try it. and so you have your subject elements and style chosen. now imagine adding in the playful mix of contrast, focus, color, and so on. you guide the directions you take concepts by your ideal results. you would take certain steps if you were going for a turtle-parrot. is it a parrot disguised as a turtle? (wearing a turtle shell) is it a radioactive combination of two? or genetic splicing of genes? is it supposed to look mircowaved or majestic? .. etc, etc.

an artist that does this mixing of elements very nicely is conceptart's very own rubygenesis (http://www.demongoddess.com/). check her minotaur and centaurs out man, they are hot shit. love her little birds too .. heh. she has a good understanding of horses enough to where she can incorporate nice transitions in anatomy, not just two symbolized silouettes.

other tricks such as using common connotative properties of subjects. an owl is wise, a fox is sneaky. be aware of your personal relationship with subjects and use other elements to communicate your feelings toward that specific subject. take for example girls and the color green. when green is used in a skin tone it makes it sickly, almost rotted. this is a common understanding. if you balance this element with a naked women licking her lips, the artist is trying to communicate something to their aduience.
basic shapes have visual properties. such as a triangle is much more agressive. a square is solid and strong. a circle is youthful and soft. these can also be used with many other things. some are more successful than others, so i suppose that is why i chose the word "tricks".

hope half that made sense.

rendering style
well, it is hatching is all. light to dark. the pressure applied, the lead type (HB, 2H, 4H, etc) and the distance of hatching. i don't like to cross my lines much, my style of rendering tends to stay in the same direction. i like to keep my lines as parrallel as possible to make them look cleaner. it takes a lot more concentration, but i have chosen to flow across the form with my rendering to better discribe it. rather than following the line, i juxtapose the two so they push the form more. for example, the silouetted contour may be defineing the form vertically. rather than using the textural flow of my rendering to further define the verticle aspects of my form, i may choose to shade horizontally with the intent to better define more of the form by contrasting the two. i like the way it looks, take a look at how boldly steak-tron uses his hatching.

hope my rambling was in some way helpful to you.

Crunch

thanks for the quick tut man. your stuff has gotten phenomonally better (while my spelling still suffers) i cant give any really solid crit at the moment but its great to see what you have been up to. actually ok one crit on the bump in the night kid. its creepy but i think it can be a helluva lot more creepy. maybe some nice boils on the torso or an ear with a bite outta it...(just brainstorming) some possible variation in the catipillar half of the baby, cracks or uneven shell formations...take what i have to say with a grain of thought though. its just to me that for the hint of creepyness that your giving it the drawing looks a little to symmetrical and clean for this kind of concept. i do want to say that these drawings are hot and i love your rendering style. peace.

Crunch hello,
thanks for the comments and input bro. to tell you the truth i was going for something clean. two reasons behind this. A) the initial plan was to tweak a small area of my subject as a juxtaposition against normal proportions. i knew that this type of approach would most likely create that uneasy feeling i wanted. B) i trusted my ability to make something turn weird, and i thought it turned out nicely. onto the next, thanks again dude.

wow killing, great job on the centi-baby. I turned out really creepy, an with Christmas colors to boot.

I also liked your explanation of the hatching technique, i'll tell people to come here in the future if they ask about it. And speaking of that you did a tremendous job controlling the marks, they are all parallel with each other but going in the right directions to describe the form. I don't think I have that much control over them, which is probably why I end up doing allot of crosshatching.

r u now going to make a model of the baby?

Killing--very nice animation. I'm impressed--lots of realistic movements and some good quirks.
I must mention, however, that view 2 reads better than view 1. This is because in view 1, we cannot see him get his left hand fully underneath the box for that extra heave before he sets it down. So view 1 reads a little funny at that part--it looks like he magically gets extra strength or something.
But from view 2, we can't see the head jerk as clearly. Dangiiiiit! I wish there was a best of both worlds. :)

anyways, just wanted to say "good job"

wow impressive, love the detail shot.
Color and pencil are both very nice
I also like your hatching very much

Looks like you are using mech-pencil right ?
How do you do when you need a grey tonal, shading with mech-pencil make the shad very unconstant don't u feel ?

You are a patient man! Your meticulous rendering must indeed soak up a lot of concentration. The results are nice, however, so it pays off.

The finished creepy kid painting is excellent. The coloring is superb. Did I mention the kid's creepy? Cause he is. >:D
You seem to be a good all-rounder. I admire that.

Thanks for keeping this sketchbook.

as i noted, i have been using a 0.5 mechanical pencil as of late.
your question had enticed me to jot down different concepts i use to show you how i shade with a pencil. mechanical pencil has its limitations. the reason i enjoy using a "mech-pencil" is because i would prefer to have a sharp edge at any given time. be aware that these rendering rules shared are constantly scrutinized by myself and are based off of my knowledge and liking.

if anyone has any suggestions or would like to chime in with certain things they have become made aware of, it would be very grateful.

some personal notes on how i render with a mechanical pencil

I just got a AHA! moment, thank u killing. I actually took the time to a grab pencil and a paper to follow your hatching tutorial, And I just got a feeling of how it actually works. Your read it and keep hearing it, to follow your strokes along or across the form but u cant see it even though its right in front of you.

Thank you so much for shareing!

12.23.2004 quick touch up on the under-belly of the little reynolds blacktop mushie, hehe.

see the skull on the purple one?

i haven't started a project to never finish in a while, so now is as good as any.

the idea is to somehow make a pointless demo that involves my bob-goblin (http://members.cox.net/wisdim2/Forum/WIP/Bobolo/bob_rend07.jpg) that i had almost finished, running around, being all kinds of nasty in a forest or something.
ideally, from the top of a high ledge will grow a thick pumpkin or mellon patch that can be plucked from and carried away and then tossed below to where bob could try to skewer them onto young trees fasioned into wooden stakes or into water or whatever.

i don't know what program to use for the interactive side of things just yet. i would like to see him running around in a 3d space. i'll see if i can stay interested in creating the assets.

it totally will never get done, but there you have it.

"draw without greed" is a motto of mine. i first started writing it in my sketchbooks years ago. i can't define it because i never had, it wouldn't be right - i hope that will make sense to you. i have refered to it in many different ways, so it has many useful messages that are to be pointed inward at yourself.

Great tutorial Cory. It's good to see the technique outlined so clearly - you really hit the mark on what not to do. Esp. since I still do some of the "yuuck" moves sometimes. :)
Now I can shake some nasty habits.

aside from the holidays, i have been very preoccupied from any type of traditional work due to my playing in 3d texturing and learning unrealed, a level editor for unreal tournament 2003. here are some texture SDKs - this fun has been taking place over at polycount.

a texture SDK is comprised of a "package" of files required to texture a model.

on this occation, they all were just head models
here was the SDK i created:

Man, your rocking right now, I'm loving this stuff, awesome awesome. Only crit is the textures of the models on the nostrils, they all the seem the same, the nostril openings seem like they are really really tiny, like I couldn't fit a straw through it, you know what I mean. On some of the characters it works, but it seems like it's the same size on all of them. Especially in the early January batch, the underside of the girls nose with the helmet looks wrong. Nice work though man, keep it going.

killing! you SHOULD be proud, this is really great stuff!!! the models are looking sweet (and dare i say, they're starting to look like kenneth scott's early stuff [ala the protofiend skin for quake II]).

for a little crit: you may be spreading yourself a little thin, you're pumping out work like crazy and that's very respectable, but i think if you spent more time on smaller details in the model painting, or maybe on one single project it could really blow some shit outta the water. now i could be wrong here in assuming you're not already doing this so disregard if you have some sort of work-bomb that you're gonna drop soon!

That's some nice stuff you got there.

For the textures, maybe some more sharp edges and crisp details? I dunno. Have you unpacked the Q3 pk3 and looked at all the player textures? They're quite amazing.

A good texture trick I learned while looking at those is: (I reversed engineered this, don't know if they did it this way):

- 1a Take a photo of grainy stuff, like ashes if you got a fireplace, ashes are good noise, and already grey.

- 2a Put the clonebrush on 'soft light' and clone on some dirt onto the texture where it fits.

--- another variant ---

- 1b Paint with splotchy light-grey and dark-grey brushes on a 50% grey. Make the canvas pretty big and try to get some variation in the splotshes, small, big, noisy, jagged, high contrast, low contrast etc.

Duplicate that layer. Bring up color balance and add colds into the darks and warms into the brights. On the other layer, emboss so you get a bumpy surface. Softlight that layer onto the other one. Now you should have a bumpy texture with colds in the valleys and warms in the hills. You can then set a brush to color and add some color hues here and there.

- 2b After having scaled down my texture and sharpened plus fade 30-70% (dun want it too sharp) I create a new layer which I put into soft light. Then I also scale down the bumpy texture so the detail fits the scale. I sharpen it a bit too. Then I clonebrush the bumps into the empty layer.

The advantage here is that if I want to redraw the texture without the bumps I still got the bump work saved in a layer, so the updated texture can go under it.

Here's mine at 50%size + sharpen 50%fade, not the best variation, maybe we could trade if you make one? I'm getting bored of mine.
http://web.telia.com/~u48508900/softlight.jpg

If the texture is small you can clean it up with the pen manually. Add some pixel perfection and straight edges where needed.

You have to be really subtle with the bumpy texture, so keeping it in another layer is good if you want to remove some.

March 28th, 2005, 08:13 PM
nice one prom!

ye those q3 textures.. kenneth scott is da man. what else is new under the sun..
what makes those texture look so great is that the detail overlay is not just differences in values, but also in color. in fact, values wise, its flatter than yours, and i would suggest sticking to flatter type of detail textures since it never crosses with what u r creating (value wise). with detail texture that are more color based, you can always go in and easily bump out the areas you want, basically adding rendering to the flat color details.

here's a trick from me:
take almost any "cool" marble stone texture you found online and invert the image. you also get a sweet low relief texture detail, like what you demonstrated, but that relies more on subtle color differences rather than values

Prometheus|ANJ
March 28th, 2005, 08:23 PM
Yeah, the nice thing with layer's though is that you can go back and remove stuff if you later discover that the noise is making things unreadable. It's nice to really punch in some harder bumps on some deserving spots though. Makes things characteristic. Not good for cloned troops / grunts however, just for characters.

Just adding that marble hue like you suggested (or any abstract image) can give you a lot of ideas too! Many textures out there suffers badly from being colorized and mono (no hues).

On that last AJ Samuel drawing though, I think that the perspective on the chest plate is slightly off, as the crotch protector is point in one way, while the chest plate is sticking out in a compeletely other way, and his shoulders aren't following the exact same perspective as the chest either.

Maybe its just me though, great stuff anyways.

-=Mythix=- & caglisto hi!
thanks for the encouragement, guys

incognito, hi
you're right on the perspective issues, thanks for your comments

Lono, hey!
thanks man, i love your stuff we both know, if you had, it would have been way cooler - i wont tell anyone if you wont.

Prometheus|ANJ hi dude,
thanks for all the input! i haven't looked at the quake3 textures, i'll take a look at them, that is a great idea. i wanted to disclaim that i raped those texture packages hehe, i got what i wanted out of them and threw their remains to the dogs; like eating all but the crust on a piece of pizza, i painted all the fun parts without the intent of finishing them. i never finish anything! :) i digress.

1x: i had not thought to use the clone brush with a blend mode, ahh verry nice!
your systematic approach to art is very fun, it is different than most artists making you a very rare breed of artist, imo. i don't stop to think, i may think out my next possible routes during repetitive tasks, but i don't like to stop unless i am really not confident producing an effect.. anyway

2x: i opened the old psd file for the texture map you had used for an example and say i was planning to overlay (multiply) a simple rustic metal texture for noise, something like this. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v668/killnpc/noise.jpg)
i would've wanted to add a layer to polish but anyway, i like how much controlled your approach is with this technique, it would most definately achieve a more delibrate detail.

:?: prom, if i am understanding correctly: you are using this relief texture (softlight.jpg) as a clone pallet of sorts?
and so thanks, i appreciate the tips and ideas very much!

Eyal, hi
glad to have read over that tid-bit you shared, i'll check that out when i've a marble texture opened.

Undertow, hi
ya mike, the AJ concepts were mine, it was for a little challenge where we were to swap the gender of a video game character. thanks for the comments ,dude.

Badger hello again,
thanks for the kind words, i was having fun skribbling that piece out.
so many have inspired my painting style. i painted very agressively in art classes. i had some really amazing art teachers in jr. high (mr. tantello) and highschool (mrs. legget and others). i watched bob ross painting shows when i was younger when i stayed at my grandparents as a child, i liked van gogh and other textural paintings. art college has been opening my eyes and closing my mouth. the more clearly i can see the artistic talent that is in the world. i was once the best artist in the world, hehe. it was nice i guess, but i've learned to see differently.
every living experience and piece of artwork i have been moved by has affected my art in some way.
i haven't received much artistic mentorship after developing fundemental instruction, so all i learn technique-wise is from personal experiementation and observation.

TjiggoTjurring & Pencilator, hey thanks for the love! ;)

i leave you a cool quote from GDC '05 that made me smile:

Killing> The thing with softlight is that it uses grey as no change, then all hues and values that differ from that goes both ways. Multiply just darkens.

http://itchstudios.com/psg/junk/texture_example.jpg

Also, here's some textures I modified using clonebrush, replace color, and other 'hack' tools. I stole some tech parts from the Q3 textures even, shame on me. I really need to do my own tech sheet to clonebrush details from. Please note that there's much more to doing textures than using hack tools... You constantly need to go in and paint, tweak and use your artistic ability to balance things.

Nice. Your last three are drool-worthy (I especially like the monochromatic brown zombie.

How is Photoshop CS different from PS7? I noticed you use PS in several of your images. I use PS7 myself but I don't find its brush controls as natural as Painter. And yet, I don't want to transition to Painter because I am a funnel-visioned, PS-fixated bastard. Any tips/ feedback on PS CS? I've been thinking of buying it.

Anyways, keep up the great work. You have an awesome and varied style.

lukavi, hello
thanks for the comment. i love how when moving your canvas in full screen view modes, the canvas's position is no longer restricted by the boarder's edge. when using the brush tool, if you hold the space bar it toggles on the hand move tool. play with the brush settings and different brush presets, there is some fun stuff in there. painter is cool too. if you aren't in the mood to expand, that's cool too if you ask me, since you're asking, do whatever's natural. :]

check out chris cunningham's rubber johnny: http://wimp.com/rubberjohnny

now that shit is creepy .. :$ it's like a waking nightmare.

clogik, hi dude.
the centibaby is a bit of both. the concept was an old school project for a character design class. i've modeled it for fun; i really enjoyed how the concept came out and people seemed to enjoy it as well. i'm hoping to create a second 'texture' with a black and red color scheme and release an SDK in hopes others will create a texture for him as well.

this (http://members.cox.net/wisdim3/worksk010.jpg) made me laugh when i saw it. I also like this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v668/killnpc/listen.jpg) a lot. On your latest painting I like the work you've done with the brush that you used, but I think that it suffers because the texture of the face is not varied enough. If you had used many different brushes with the same strokes you could have achieved a lot more pleasing effect in the texture. Also the folds of the cloak that he is wearing do not seem to make sense. I struggle with this too, however, I think if you think of the points of the fabric that hold most of the stress and the folds that would result, it makes fabric much easier to render.

Mr.Blonde, thanks for the constructive criticism!
very good assessment of my work, thank you. it sucks butts kinda cool. it's a quick little doodle, so i don't feel bad.

Gloominati, hi dude
that fat headed dude was an experimentation of brushes. i created a painterly sketch and created clipboard screen shots in my history layer and played around with the art history brush tool a lot. afterwards i would clean it up with a regular brush. maybe you can get something with that. ;)

With that line, its my belief if you drive yourself towards unattainable greatness, you will achieve it.

Always remain weird as a motherfucker, I am weird as a motherfucker, and that is from whence my weird as a motherfucker mind gets its ideas from.

Also, make sure if you have any really really really evil weird sexual images floating around in your head, make sure you paint it and then sell it under an alias or else you'll be under terrorist watch like I am.

Gotta go, the feds are cumming.

Wow. Ya' know, of all the artists here, I think you are one of my favorites. Swear to GOD if I had half the talent or skill, I might even get a job doing this. You are crazy good. Must take a hell of a lot of time to do that kind of stuff. If you don't mind me asking, what exactly is "industrialized art?" I have never heard of that. Graphic design, yes, but not industrialized art.

industrialized artwork? .. where are you getting this? i'm not sure where that came from.
