Not quite done yet, still need to paint this sketchbook sketch...
any thoughts, ideas? any color scheme suggestions?

Nice work azjohnl! I like the pose. The main crits I have are;

1) his hips look really wide for a male. I think if just took out the overlaping skirt thing on his right leg it would fix it.

2) His right foot has a funny shape to it. Wouldn't be hard to fix.

Color scheme... hmm, maybe warm colors on him with a hint of cool in the background. I'm not sure. Not my best subject.

Anyways, looking good. Looking forward to seeing it finished!

Looks nice, though I agree about the hips. As for colors, well, for some reason I see him as wearing mainly grey-green. Maybe some yellow for accents. His weapon seems a little plain, maybe just put a band color before the spiky bit.

some more detail in the leggings would help its too plain

either that or more detail in the tunid to contrast the plain legs

the face is awesome
