Wow that's an awesome article!

Try these on for size: being reluctant to take risks or try something new, staying at home or in the same old job, getting sick when faced with an unpleasant job, avoiding confrontations or decisions, blaming others or the situation ("it's boring") for your unhappiness or to avoid doing something, making big plans but never carrying them out, and/or having such a busy social-recreational calendar that it is hard to get important work done.

That there just about describes me haha ... euh :S

Sincere appreciation for this post, i somehow found this thread at just the right time that i felt in need of understanding my whole procrastination deal.

Read the first few paragraphs, but I'll have to finish it later. Hah, seriously, I have to catch my train. Thanks in advance for linking it though, I know I am very guilty of procrastinating. Been doing it for years, the problem beeing that I've always managed to still succeed (in terms of education etc).

Thanks!

Yes,i know this well. There is a situation one cannot change, and with time it forms out auto-mechanism in thinking/reaction.And then it spreads to other situations, because it's so common.
2 days ago s.o. wants to beat me up(didn't succeed),and i didn't beat him(i don't like that).But for this,he usually attacked the next one...

Wow... Im surprised. I'm glad this helped you guys out. Just always remember "keep in there" never give up, and always force yourself to learn something new everyday while you get your responsibilites done. Now, for me i gotta do what my father always told me "Practice what you preach"

Edit: AND oh yeah! "Worries like a rocking chair...you keep doing it but it will never get you anywhere." my favorite :confident

Thanks a lot, Scratch. I suffer from procrastination from time to time (as much of us have at one point or another) In my case, I have a day job that has nothing to do with art and it's been so hard to leave probably because of being there for so long. This is very useful. Thanx!
