I'll try, Jondan.

City: I think you can get this one... it implies that the "rogue" lives or works in a city.

Rogue: Similar to a thief. A generally bad person with little or no morals. Usually solitary. A scoundrel, a rascal, a vagrant, a blackguard, etc. etc.

Hope some of that helps.

In the (virtual world) 3033 a rogue wanders the streets. If he has enough credits for batteries he just zaps his victims with the remote otherwise just a whack with the bat.

Coming out around sunset, the notorious members of the rogue guild, consist of various pick-pockets, petty thieves, beggers, street urchins and other such people. All members are adepts with the knife for offence, defence, and utility uses - such as cutting purses.
Acrylics, I've had better.

Hood, knife and eyepatch to reflect the fact that he is a rogue, and starbuck's coffee because he's in the city.. Done with pencil and a really bad eraser, not sure how long it took though..

goran: nice work .. but a bit.. unsurprising :).

jondan: excellent executed.. . wished to see more scifi/ and or fantasy though :p

moonlit: back to the basics. The trusty bat :). or the high texh remote. Extemes :)....... (Persective is tortured a bit though :P.)

Hamsta: Lovely colors. a bit of extra detail would have helped the concept though :).

aico003: Hood, I love hoods. Folds could use some improving, but you get a bonus from me for using a hood :). Would expect him to grin on the side of the mouth with the straw, not the other way around.. but I'm nitpicking :).

Yiako: Nice brushwork on that :)

Well here are my two sketches.
First thought I would do a rather normal looking rogue..the ones that look normal and only reveal thir true nature when you turn your back.. So normal lady with just a touch "William Gibson- eque" Claws and maybe other stuff who knows :)...
(image should load here.. hit reload if it does not )

Then looked and decided the concept does not have enough kick :).
So I did another. More steampunk-ish .. of sorts :)

Aye.. I've been doing tons of practice with portraits recently and have gotten tons better at heads, but I've kind of been neglecting bodys so it kinda looks like crap :S. It's good though, gives me something to work one, your's look awesome though, same with everyone else.. good work ;) .

Well this is my first post, and as I saw before I tried to portray a prostitute but didn't quite get that feel. x-x

In a way whores are rogues, as they are sneeky, and have atleast a weapon on them when they get into trouble x-x

Well anyways I took the chance so I could grow with my art.

welcome -=Mythix=-, great linework on that one! :)

Blunder, take some time to work out the hands on that one, cuz the face looks good. some more shading, maybe...

Neb, poor guy! would give him some food! ;) very god idea, a bit too clean for me thou...

Syck, that's cool. sometimes i'd like myself to think one more minute about the topic rather then starting to draw. maybe, then i'd have some of that good ideas, you had on that one...

Oddo, cool idea! i like the second one. nice mixup of blue and orange! and a lovely babe! ;)

Dementist, thx for compliment and help! :)

Yiako, nice and simple brushwork. i like it, when it's done simple but it looks great!

aico003, nicely done. put in a bit more contrasts and details, it would be even better.

Hamsta, great colors. but i miss some details and, hmm, like some action or so.

moonlit, hehe, ugly little guy. wouldn't like to meet him around a dark corner with his remote control! ;)

goran, like i already said. great lightning on that one! as always, i like it very much! :)

so much for the comments. let's see, what tomorrow brings! ;)

I think we need to represent some white-collar rogues too. I'm not anti-business, but when I think of cities and unprincipled, deceitful, and unreliable people therein (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=rogue), I tend to think of Enron executives :P

Or worse yet... ...lawyers :$

Seriously you guys... each day everyone's art gets better... it makes my brain bruise to think of how talented and creative you all are. I went with a lower class brat type of approach and drew a street punk.

This is awesome... oh how I wish my scanner worked! >:|

Oddo, that first one was dead-set on my idea of Gibson's street samurai. Then I actually read what you wrote about it, that's awesome, absolutely how I pictured Molly.
