Hi!
I am brand new and I think I am going to like it here! I love art and anything that has to do with it. Besides the fine art I also enjoy photography, webdesign and making graphics for my websites. I am a senior in high school so I am busy with college selection, applications etc. But I always find time to draw and I joined this forum hoping get some art motivation! I was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and lived there until I was eleven, then I moved to USA.

Welcome to CA. If you haven't already, I would suggest heading over to the Daily Sketchbook section, and creating your own sketchbook. Post up your work, as you sketch, paint or whatever. You'll get lots of great help.

Yep that's what I intended to do: create my own sketchbook online. How do I do that? Do I just post a new thread in that forum and then just keep replying to my own thread to post new stuff??

Exactly. Their is a sub-forum under SKETCHES, IDEAS, & WORKS IN PROGRESS called CA.org Sketchbooks (ig you don't already know) Go their and create a new thread for you sketchbook. then just keep posting pics, exactly like you said, keep replying to your own thread to add new images. People will comment on your work, and it is invaluable information.

If you need a place to host you pictures for free, you can go to TinyPic (http://tinypic.com/)

When you have your sketchbook up, it is worth while to add the link into your signature as you will notice many people have done (including myself) Also, commenting on other people's sketchbooks will not only expose you to some of the incredible artwork here, but people will be more inclined to post in your thread.
