Well, the open beta ended. And went out with a bang. The Blizzard GMs (game masters) were running around crossroads as godly infernals. Bodies started littering the area. They turned me into a chicken, and I still retained all my normal stats and skills. I have screenshots I'm gonna put up of my level 19 Chicken killing things, including a lvl 30 Paladin. Then the GMs were Dreadlord Chickens and Crossroads was a mess.
Hope to see you all on retail. I guess we will try to organize the CAO play group on a server as soon as we get a listing.

Haha yeah the end of beta was a kick! Me and my friends ran all the way through duskwood(lvl 25+ zone) for fun in an attempt to discover as much as the world as we could in an hour. I opted to go naked =P
I do intend of getting the retail version in early december before christmas =)

well all of the major cities were overrun by infernals and deamon overloads. great fun!! i was turned into a chicken and got to experience zero gravity as a GM proceeded to lift me off the ground well above stormwind and i floated gently down like a feather. needless to say i let out a hardy /lol afterwards
unfortunatly i was unable to ever hook up with any CA.orgers, Test server 4 was a mess. i think most guilds figured on hopping to the lower numbered east coast servers, namely the PvP ones. most notably the ever popular Goon Squad seemed to have overrun Test 4.
I will be purchasing the game 8am tuesday morning and will be on that evening after work. I will have an Undead Rogue on one of the PvP servers (mostly likely east coast)
my others shall be: Tauren Hunter (PvE server), Dwarf Warrior (PvE or PvP server, not sure), Night Elf Druid and Human Warlock (undecieded as to which server).

I have a question about paying for accounts and all. If i install the game here on my computer and play it for a couple weeks before christmas break, then take the cd/cd key/account info home and play it on a different computer will it work or would I have to set up a new account that costs the $$?
It would seem to only make sense that if I had my key and account information things would be fine, but just checking, it is my first mmorpog afterall.

Yeah beta was fantastico! I was in Ogrimar, or how ever u spell the orc capital, with my level 10 undead warlock(RIP ElPussygato) when the infernals attacked! I didnt even know it was the end of beta I almost cryied, but it was great fun nun the less.
We were talking in other threads over the past couple months as weve been awaiting WoWs release about starting the official CA guild. DO you guys think we should start a new thread in here to get everyone orginized, maybe the official guild thread? I think it should say on the first post what we are, our name, and the sever we are on and so forth... Just a thought...
Cant wait for tuesday to pick up my copy and get this guild started!

Tomorrow baby!!!
I guess whoever gets on a PvP server first and posts it here. Not sure how much east/west/etc affects it all.

PvP servers
Horde: Bleeding Hollow @ Volkra (Orc Shaman)
Alliance: Shadow Moon @ Eivy (Night Elf Hunter)
Where is everyone? I have a feeling people just picked servers all over and played played played. If yall want to start a guild, then we need to organize.

I played a little on that day. It was fun, but alot of people were whining. I just had fun and ran around as a ghost after being killed by the infernals. I'm buying the game come X-Mas. When I get it, I'll likely be playing US Central. My first char will likely be a Gnome Rogue.

I ended up making my dwarf hunter, Feradin, on Destromath(Pacific server) just cause a friend was on there. Blizzard said this is basically no difference in lag between time zones(and I haven't seen any myself), so it shouldn't matter which time zone everyone plays in if we ever get a guild together.

Ah! I have been dreaming of playing this game for a few months...but I do not have a good enough PC to run it. OH, but wait! Finally, after months of searching, I have finally found a part time job! I plan on saving up $1,500 to build it. I've calculated how much I'll be making every pay check, and I should have the money by early feb!
Also, what kind of computer are you guys running on, and how does the game perform on your PC? Oh yeah, please post some screenshots of your characters if you can.

One more question: My mom is being stupid and won't upgrade to DSL ( We have AOL which is $24 a month, DSL is $30 a month, so I can't figure out why she won't get DSL). So, I'm stuck on AOL, and I can't do ANYTHING about it. Do you guys think I could play WoW on AOL 56k?

i play on a 56k connection, on a high pop. pvp server and don't have too many problems with lag. yeah, it doesn't run as nicely as my friends' that have dsl and cable, but you should do fine.
