New Stuff is at the bottom.
Well hello everyone. This is my first post here and I hope that I am doing it right by posting in this section. Well I was refered here by METHOD, and I must say that I am glad that he did. I am a bit hesitant to put my stuff up here, due to all of the amazing talent, but I guess the only way to get better is to surround yourself with those who are better then you.
I decided to start with the sketchbook section because that is one of my big weaknesses. I do mental sketching if that makes any sense, so I am always going to more of a finished product before I let the ideas his the paper. So, I am hoping that doing this will get me more use to sketching. Enough talk here is some art

You've got some neat stuff going on man.
If i had to give an advice, i'd say try to be more gestural, it will get rid of alot of rigidity. Try posting as often as you can, keep it up!

well here is today's sketches. Ummm the first one is when I first got started. really just letting the pencil do all the work. I had no idea where stuff was going. THe second one is a pen sketch, and the last one was after I warmed up a bit. Still have a long way to go.
Thanks for looking
Sok N. Wett: Thanks for the comments. I am trying to do more of my own stuff. We'll see what happens. Thanks again

Nice thread going here. You've got a really good grasp of the basic shapes. I think its time you start really applying them. Let's see some of these guys in a full action shot. Twist those bodies up as much as you can. Also let's see some backgrounds. You're coming along really well so far. I want to see what else you can do. Keep at it.

As a total loser when it comes to humans and stuff, it's really inspiring to start doing things like that when I see this. I love the guy with the caoe and sword that you colored, he's awesome :)
