Wow. I was pretty impressed with these to begin with, moreso after you mentioned how little time was given.
How long have you been drawing? I'm really impressed that you were able to get such believeable proportion in that short of time, although something seems strange about the full figure in the second picture. Of course, there is no point of reference, so it could be completely on.
Your line quality is great, it reminds me of the clean, fluid style of comic book sketches. Nice work on the shading, too, the tones read well and are not overworked. It's hard to say much else without seeing any of your other stuff, which I'd definitely be interested in seeing. Post more if you get the chance. Where are you taking classes at?

These are looking great for having such little drawing experience.
On the second page I'd watch the guys legs. They're looking pretty short there compared to the rest of the figure. The femur is about 2 heads tall from great trochanter to patella, and then another 2 heads from patella to the bottom of the foot. My teach always says it's better to lean towards a more ideal figure than not... so even if the guy has short legs anyways it's better to make em a tad longer than shorter.
keep up the good work.

I've been drawing all my life really, i'd just never taken any life drawing classes, and since i was wanting to make a real go of my art as a career, i decided i should probably do it.
Those where from last year in Dundee art school, i've not had a chance to take any this year yet... but hopefully after the new year.
I see what you mean about his legs looking to short, i think you're probably right.
