Done in Photoshop CS. As it often happens to me I liked the picture when it was not entirely done, after the rendering I have a feeling it lost something. :er:

I think its slightly odd that four different kinds of warriors are all smushed together in the woods...all at the ready, but with no visible enemies at hand.
My boyfriend is a fan though, and put it as his desktop. :)

Your composition is good. Your light source is rather confusing. The overall image is a bit flat too. What is good is that you got an idea of atmospheric perspective I just think it needs to be pushed more to create more excitement in the background. Just keep practicing and you will get better. Perhaps what you end up losing, which does happen to me times when I work sometimes, is that I can tend to over work pieces and I lose some feelings and motions in my brush work I had originally.
