Extremely important question that needs a fast answer!

I am doing an essay about Hieronymus Bosch, a pretty well known dutch artist. I need to know what art period he made his work in. This may sound stupid, but it's been very hard to determine till now.. Sources say it's Renaissance, but that doenst qualify as an art period I think. he lived and worked from 1450 to 1516, i need an answer to this extremely fast, it has to be done this evening. thanks in advance!

I believe Bosch would either be considered Gothic or Northern Renaissance. There are smart folks here, but remember: Google is your friend.

google didnt bring much answer, but I eventually settled at Gothic, wich turned out to be right. Didnt know renaissance was an actual art period :)
