Anyway, you can buy the special edition 2 disc dvd on ebay, and its region 0 so you can play it on your ps2. My friend bought it and we watched it two days ago.

It is extremely pretty (the director is a fashion photographer). All the backgrounds are computer generated, like Sky Captain. It works very well inthis movie (especially because they throw in some traditional footage with real backgrounds and no color correction, and its a very dramatic contrast and very effective in the way it is used). The story is... not exactly incomprehensible, but they do leave a lot up to the audience to fill in their own conclusions. Its definitely worth a watch, just for the visuals if nothing else.

the movie is ok story wize. visually it is quite good.. not a masterpiece but the mood is very obivous at all times, maybe a bit too much effects on everything.. but overall it is a good movie imo..

actually I wouldn't waste your money on this movie, it sucks. i couldn't watch through the whole thing, there may be a culture gap or something but I think it really just has a very, very poor story, I mean it starts out ok and then gets crazy and all this random, deus ex machina shit happens for no reason, with no explanation, imo its such a waste to spend that money on those special effects, which are decent but some of the compositing and color correction is weird, when you have no good story to back it up
