Hey ya'll sorry for the down time for my personal art. I had a busy week last week. Firstly, I had to meet deadlines for my 4th cover for Teen Titans Go. They are having me draw, ink, and color them. I am having fun with it! I can't wait for ya'll to see the first one. It hits the racks, I think, in February. Secondly) I am working on my third video game with Sony, and that deadline was hella tight. Lastly) I was invited to give a seminar at the Art Institute of Orange County. I invited 2 of my good buddies Ryan Odagawa, and Ryan Benjamin to go with me to help me out if I croaked. I did croak a bit, and they picked up the slack. I had a feeling that I wouldn't know half the questions that were asked due to my lack of experience in the comics, and gaming industry.

OKAY! In this deviation, I am trying something that I learned while working on animation bits for Sony. I have the buildings (background) on a seperate layer, spidey on a seperate layer, and the villain on a seperate layer. I know, I know.. ya'll are probably thinking... where the heck is the villain???!!! Well, all I'm gonna say is he's there, though not clear because the colors will play it's part. Let's just say the title is "Got Sand?"

Hrm,

I'm sitting here waiting for all the pieces to magically come together...

hehe. jk. but not really because i sometimes work this way too. I find that if i can keep all the elements that are key in the composition seperate...then it's easier to screw around with 'em.

really trippy style though, i have to say....i've seen LOTS of ways to draw spidey and this one is something new for me...

groovy,

~milo

I like your idea and this is looking good so far, but all we see is line art. :(

Are you going to be posting the w.i.p of this and eventually the finish?
