Hey, im an artist from miami who has done art for a big part of my life. The direction i have gone into is realism and industrial design. I love movies and videogames and have seen many books like "the art of star wars", "the art of the return of the king" and feel very motivated to go in that direction also. If anyone could give me any suggestions as to how to start heading in that direction or give me some pointers on fantasy illustration. Proffesionals and amatuers are welcome to help me out. Once i figure out how to post my art i will. Thanx for ur time.

Well I'm in the group that you specified as amatuer so listen to what I have to say but don't bet your life on it lol.

Anyways what I have seen and read from the people that actually know what they're doing talk a lot about getting your name outthere. You seem fairly comfortable with your skills so you should probably search over the web for different illustrating jobs or just snoop around in different magazines and different small companies. Really shouldn't expect to get the greatest Illustrating jobs out there at first. However, just trying to get into the business that way will give ya a pretty good shock into about how it is to become an illustrator.
