I had the best dream lastnight. It was the best that i had ever had in the longest time. Not to mention one of the best feelings i've had in my life.

In short it went like this. I was sleeping when i heard a noise downstairs outside. I went out side to invesigate this noise and found it was a naked asian girl rubbing her cunt against the bushes outside my door. I watched through the blinds. She knew i was watching. Suddenly a car comes pulling up and scares her away. Out comes the most beautiful girl i've ever seen. I didn't do her much justice at all in the sketch at the top right. but the others are pretty close. I say to her, did you see that nekkid asian chick? fucking weird. We talked and hit it off like they do in the movies.

So when i woke up i drew out some details the best i could.

here is a WIP for a painting that should of been done a long time ago...but wasn't. Well, i got nothing but time now so i figured i should finish it. Moon is refference for now.

I stupidly saved over it, so i upped the resolution and started cleaning it up. I wasn't happy with the face so i started over completely.

Intriguing.. is the word is use, this looks very very impressive, i love the plain background against the bright pinks and flesh tones of the person but something seems off. I think it might be the perspective tht seems funny. the perspectiv on her body is nice a dn he chin/mouth is good, but i think its here eyes. They seem very straight forward, not like shes looking upwards like the rest of her head depicts. I may be wrong but the rest looks very nice aswell as the rest of ure work, its awesome, The comic is great to.

that last one is cool, but if you dont mind me saying, i dont really find the color to be working that well (too much black mixed into all the color?)... the grey background doesnt really work for me and it really has that look of a photo taken with the flash turned on...but thats just a personal thing that bugs me in painting.

well, this is the way it is because that's how my friend wanted it. aslo, it's not in color(though i'd like it to be) cause my computer couldn't handle the file size. It needed to be a highres cause he was printing this for his GF. It was 24x something and it was at 200. The file size was insane. Before this he wanted it at 300dpi. I was like...yeah that's not going to happen. I really don't care about fixing anything as he is happy, so i am happy. Though that background fucking killed me. I suck so hard at painting anything not human.

Lesson learned.... it pays to have a GOOD sketch of the BG you are attemping to paint. Layers are very nice too if you can use them. In my case i coudln't because it added to the file size.

Thanks wes for your input. Actually, i should have more stuff soon. Mostly of my GF since she is my muse now. I haven't drawn anything else but her lately.

It would be great to see you do some cover work and spot illustrations. Ugg Gamepro is in Desperate need of a decent spot illustrator. Playstation Mag. is usually good about that kind of stuff.

Mmh, I think you are elongating the heads when you draw 3/4th views. Good example is the girl on the bottom right of the first page and that last girl. It just looks like the back of their head is huge. Mayby draw some skulls underneath your heads to figure it out.

I try to bring my sketchbook everywhere i go. But for those times where i forget, i have to find anything, SOMETHING to draw on.

Me and my GF went to steak n skake after seeing Constatine. Which, btw, was actually good. I was explaining how i couldn't draw for shit as of lately. She said i was crazy and i draw just fine. I set out to prove her wrong. And actually, what i drew wasn't bad. I figured that the reason i must be drawing like crap is because i haven't been drawing from life lately. Well, i can't really draw people that much becaue i don't have a car. But that is deff the problem. anyway, the drawings on the left are the product of me and kara thinking about black people. Here is just a sketch i did real quick a few minutes ago. A skratch really. I was just thinking about orcs and drew a few. This is what usually happens, i'll think of something skratch it and show it to no one. So most of my book and papers are filled with this shit. That orc with the beard is fantastic! You've achieved so much character with such a minimum of strokes. Less is definitely more, but I find being minimal like that can be so hard to pull off. Kudos! Are you a fan of Tatsuya Yoshikawa (Breath of Fire character designer)? He's another one who can create memorable characters with just a few strokes. Keep up the good work!

Im trying so hard not to draw a short hair girl for awhile. I want to do other things for now. Im starting off with drawing creatures. The goal for me is to draw something that no one has really seen. Right now they lack interest but im hoping that they will look better as i go along.

I really like those monsters, man. I think my favorites are The guy with the extra eyes and flat face on sketch 79, and the face on the top right of sketch 80-- I like those horn/fin things on his head.
Also that dude with the fangs on 79 looks really cool and well drawn, but he's really ugly, so I don't want to look at him any more!

If you're trying to come up with a unique monster, one way to aproach it is to take something a little bit familiar and change it's context. For instance, that creature with the horn on it's head looks like you meant for it to be an animal, rather than a person, and as an animal it looks sort of typical, but if you put that head on a more humanoid figure-- especially if it's for a character who's smart, like a diplomat or something and isn't suposed to be some big, tough, brainless goon-- it'll be very recognisable and memerable.

But anyway, nice drawing as always-- can't wait to see some finished pieces with these monsters!

So i need your help guys. Would you buy any of these shirts? They are just sketches right now. But im looking to print 2 of them and sell them. Im liking 1 and 6. what do you guys thinks?
Hey BrokenCow - awesome work...first time checkin' out your stuff. As for the shirts (if you haven't decided already) - it's a definite for #1! For #6, I'd like to see the shirt color as red with black linework with bits of white splatter (if not cost prohibitive).

I don't have anything to update with really. I haven't been doing much. This is just a sketch for a portrait i am being paid to do. The guy just wanted me to do whatever i wanted. Since he cosplays as vash i decided to go with that. i could update with that i guess.

This is really tuff because he wants it at 15.5X19.5 at 300 resolution.
His eye is the size of my FIST!!!!

My friend was doing some work on his character. He said he didn't really have it drawn out yet so i asked him to tell me a bit about his story and stuff. As he was telling me I started to draw these out all while looking at pictures of weasels. Anyway. His face isn't really that great but it was fun coming up with a character under someone esles direction. The fact that i can't draw lately and then suddenly i can is funny. I can draw instantly when someone tells me what to draw. Which just makes me even more sure i can do this kind of thing for a job. When i sit down to draw something though...i am so blank. ugh.

this stuff is just amazing. I think my fav. so far was the lip study of your GF. It looked so real! Please do more! More large pics like the girl with the moon behind her. Maybe incorporate some orcs. :D You can really go anywhere you want with those skillz; just keep on practicing!

i think his nose seems to be a bit crooked to the right side a bit..just thought id point it out.Its a fantastic picture though! I really like how he looks, much better than the originals in my opinion.
