That's quite a few drawings for two days....nice job overall. A few suggestions for ya...with the 20-60 min poses, you did a great job with getting full contrast and achieving depth, however the proportions need a bit of work. Also, try not to rely on such strong lines to outline the various forms like the 3rd and 4th pics. Of the longer poses, i like the two ladies the most, they have a more fluid feel with softer tones. You have several wonderful short gestures, esp. the one minute red pencil drawings. One more thing, in most of these you don't draw the hands or feet. If you want more life-like drawings and to get better at hands and feet.....you have to draw them. Anyway, nice stuff....keep up the practice!

thanks for the comments. I really appreciate it. : ) And yeah, I get about 3-7 hours of lifedrawing Mondays-Fridays. ^^;;
btw, can someone pinpoint where my proportion errors are so that I could check those areas more closely when I'm drawing? Proportions my main downfall, I'm trying to get it right... it looks right while I'm drawing but when I look at it after it's done i relieze it feels awkward.

been kinda busy with school and work lately, and i just reliezed the camera was set at low quality resolution so some of the pictures didn't turn out very nice :S
Here's a few exercises I've been trying out~
Copying:

Francois Boucher (1793-1770)
Reclining Satyr
The above drawing is a copy of what he did, I messed up alot of parts. @_@ I was mainly doing an arm study on this piece. I struggled alot on the torso, the rib cage messed me..
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v378/Druie/DSCN1291.jpg
This was an inclass model and I was trying to take what I learned from the previous drawing of the arm study to bring it over here. A 45 minute pose~
Understanding the bones:

2 different angles of the same skeleton in the classroom.
Economy of Line:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v378/Druie/DSCN1293.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v378/Druie/DSCN1294.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v378/Druie/DSCN1320.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v378/Druie/DSCN1295.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v378/Druie/DSCN1295b.jpg
The animation guy made me draw the pose in 10 lines or less and I kept failing at first but eventually I got the hang of the exterior lines in the last 2 pieces. The goal of this exercise is to do gestures faster by putting down confident lines and making u look more instead of swinging ur arm around like... whee whee whee, bam there's the line.

I really suck at it. We only had 4 attempts at doing this exercise where we had 20 seconds to look at the model, then we had 1 minute for the model to rest and we would draw the pose from memory. It was fun but hard! :^^:

Verner Zimmerman Construction Method:

These hand studies are for a project in my lifedrawing class. I've been trying to show more construction in my hands to get into animation so yeah. David Bluestein is my official teacher, and Zimmerman is an animation professor at my school. Both very good but I think Verner's method works more with me but those hands with David was from 2 months ago. The way my eye looks at things wasn't good. :nohope:
I dunno.. not much to say for tips.... The outer ankle of the foot is lower than the inner one? : )

The big ones in the middle took me an hour to do because I've gotten so slow at it. The ink stuff are 30-60 second gestures. I need some help speeding up again.

I've been working on my animation portfolio this week so that's why some of the lifedrawing is a bit different from my usual stuff. They want to see structure lifedrawing. Critiques and comments please : :)

Heyhey, it's me again.
I see you're coming along nicely. Keep it up, I'm working on my portfolio too. Are you applying to both Seneca and Sheridan? That's what I'm doing. Yea so Seneca is my backup.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v378/Druie/DSCN1307.jpg
This is a nice page of hands and feet, I like this one the most out of those studies.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v378/Druie/DSCN1269.jpg
I liked this too!
Welp! those are the ones that appeal to me most! I liek others too of course!
If you want some criticism, i'd say you should keep an eye on your legs from knee down. Sometimes it's out of proportion. Either the lower leg is too small, or the feet is too small. Aside from that, You got better than the first time I saw your stuff! I'm working on improving bigtime too! =D
