Hi! I was lurking around here and was awed by the quality of work here. I know I can't compete, but figured I'd post something just the same:)

great concept, love the perspective, and the lighting... stick around here... you can become great learning from these guys here~ welcome!... as for a critique? a bit too dark, even subtle lighting in the dark parts can make all the difference~ still better than i can ever do! good job:chug:

You might consider dropping the fluffy brushes and try to work with the hard-edge brushes. That improved my work, and even if you don't like it it's always fun to try out new methods of working . Keep it up :)

The hands are too short for me. And the axe looks like made of cartoon. And look: the helet perspective fakes.
If the insect is nearer to us, try to detail some. Put some light on the foreground.
