The God of past has to memorize everything with his gigantic brain. But since even a god can't change the past he hasn't got hands.

Easily defeated by a greater god, Hrmch was forced to be the one that turns the wheel of time floating in the mists of limbo.
PS, trying out what Hurricane told me, 40 min. = Meh :dead:

Hermchen, WOW! I looked at your sketchbook, too, and it's great. The head on your God is really excellent. I would suggest you finish it and maybe show it off later, perhaps in your sketchbook, or here, even. I'm not too happy with the chopped off arms though. Maybe long, Cthulhu type tentacles or something? It's just that, when people don't do arms it always makes me feel like they were afraid to and are taking the easy way out.
Hamsta: your God is so cute and squishy, it makes me sad he has to turn that wheel 24/7. :[
Osmus: So far so good, would like to see it finished. Excellent so far on the gold cloth of the robe!
I'll post mine in a few hours...

Osmus, theres something weird about his left arm. I understand how u want it to be, but there's something odd.

Just had to do one before I went to sleep
With great promises of a very bright future man forgot the God they once believed in and the God became the God of the past....

Don't forget the God of the past... 8)
Good night folks

rik- thanks for noticing. i see that the left arm is off too. i mushed it in too far to the right, so it looks like a stubby floating arm.

dave ur completely blinded by the good craftmanship, i strongly disagree with ur judgement of concept.

@ rik: I thank you for calling it good craftmanship.
I can only guess, what in your eyes is a good concept, because you don't give arguments. So I have to judge from your art. What I see is a nice link to a soccer player not everyone would have thought of. Unfortunatly that is rather a funny Idea or kind of plane joke, than an worked out concept. I would prefere seeing a creature, that knowone has imagined before over seeing a photo copied. I hope you understand these arguments. Maybe you got some, too?
@ DaveTheOriginal: Thank you dude. Where is yours :P ?
@ Slimeydog: Thanks! Of yourse you are right, painting arms and hands is a pain to me and painting legs is, too. It takes me much time to draw them, so I avoid it. Thats bad, I know. But at least I can paint nice heads  I think I will join a nice nude painting course. I always wanted to do it. Or can you suggest other good methods?

Rik: No way man. :) He's a God of the something he can't change. Not having hands is inspired. It really fits in with the way old Gods are linked with what they symbolise.
Hermchen: Hehe, I haven't done a dsg in aaaaaaaaaaages. If tomorrow's topic is good though, I may join in.

well done hench!!!
and sorry for being so offensive dave.
btw
my picture is pele with his head leaning on the ball, that's supposed to represent a mothers pregnant belly. As a soccer god of the past, he will leave his throne to the new players that are to come in modern soccer :)
