City of Lost Children

heres a pic i did inspired by City of Lost Children, an awesome movie if you havent seen it i reccomend renting it. anyway, this was done in pastels, first time using them since last year. not sure if i should continue or not, or what i should do to continue. the only idea i have so far is to continue the skyline into Miette's hair. any other ideas?

hey wow i've never seen the movie but this looks great.
only crit i could make is that the left half looks like it needs a bit more action going on

What a coincidence! I just watched this film last weekend. It is rather strange but offers lots of new ideas and concepts, it's eye candy pure (for those of you who haven't seen it yet, do so!).

jhibbs - you did a very good job on the portrait of the characters and the atmosphere, but a darker background would have transported the mood of your source of inspiration in an better way (imo).
