This piece is inspired by my faith.... :dur: Let me know what you guys think of it so far?

it gives a powerful feeling like a champion of heaven, the face could be little more human not so cartoony but I dont know how it will look like after you have colour it so maybe this is just a layout and you change as the spirit quides you with digital pen in your hand

I like it!
I think the face matches the comic style very well. My only crit is the "subliminal line" Follow along if this makes sense:
1)the bottom bevel on the sword tip leads to:
2)the line that cuts through the shield horizontally, which leads to:
3)the shadow formed by the top of his abs and lower pec, which points to:
4)the armband, then onto:
5)the angle of the upper wing

The only reason this is buggin me I think is that horizontal shield line - if you get rid of that, and adjust the angle on his upper armband to conform to his arm shape a bit better, it should be enough to break it up.
