Got mine last night at 7pm. Its everything that you wanted to be and so much more. The more part is what rockstar didn't tell you and wanted to keep a secret. Game is great in everyway. Just read some reviews they'll sum up everything nicely.

I live in a relatively small town and there was about 1-2 hour wait line for the preorders. I never seen anything like it. I was glad I got there hour early. People were walking out with the game and hiding them down their pants. I saw one guy chasing another. I don't know what for but I'm guessing its something has to do about GTA.

I usually don't play these games...rather I sit around and watch my roommate play them. So, as a spectator, I can say that I really dig the dialogue and characters (and the voices! hello Mr. Jackson!! hahahah)

after plugging in countless hours, racking my kills up to like 10000 in GTA3(not to mention the million times i went on a killing spree and didn't save) i will definitely give this one a try and see if it's worth another 10k kills >:D

i've played it for 2 days. two fucking days, and ALL of my weapon stats are at HITMAN...

now, i AM proud of this, sure... but... how does one kill something like 900 people in the course of 8 hours?

sure, i used all the weapon cheats, for tier 1, 2, and 3 weapons (teh chainsaw is teh roxor) but i don't know... once i started killing, it was just... i dunno. numbing. now i have the option of shooting cars' gascaps to blow them up, shooting out tires to slow them down, pulling them out of the car, beating them to the ground and emptying both barrels of a sawed off shotgun into their mouth, or just tossing molotovs, waiting for the fire department to arrive, and then carving them up with a chainsaw, jacking the firetruck and running over as many people as possible until the firetruck catches fire, and usually by this time i've got helicoptors out on my trail so i wait for them to deploy rappeling SWAT guys and then RPG them down, SWAT team and all...

god. greatest form of stress relief ever.

I can't wait to start doing missions!!!

played it about 2 hrs so far, done a few missions...cruised n bruised....you kno....

I dunno every time i get a game like gta i try to go real slow. not explore too much.... keep it as slow pased as i can. i *hate* rushing thru games.

First impressions - very cool. The character physics are awesome this time.... they move real convincingly, like in one bit a gangsta steps off a porch and half turns round to speak and has one foot on the porch and one on the footpath, all his weight and gesture and shit r spot on....

Graphics r nice.... minigames r nice... everything is the shit so far...

1 question tho....ive heard its like.... a 30 min or so drive from one end of the map to the other... now iono if theres any extra shit im missing, but the map seems kinda smaller than i expected. i mean sure i havnt driven out of my hood yet, but from the top down map it dont seem unbelievably huge. bigger than gta:vc sure.... i dunno anyone care to clarify?

great game so far.... would recommend. and bizarre how the hell could u spoil a game wiv cheats already??? the missions n shit r the bestest part!

from my understanding, i think its supposed to take a good 30 minutes to go from one end of the map to the other on foot... and like 5-10 minutes driving

but man, im still in los santos and it by itself has gotta be the same size as VC or bigger. im still finding tons of new places here everytime i play. ventured out to the countryside up north and checked out a couple small towns too.


last night i built my customized Station Wagon. it's Pink, dropped down on hydraulics, rollin on dubs, and a case of nitrous in the back.
you should see this thing doing drive-bys with a whole crew in the car.

haha well i annihilated 12 hours of gta today. i usually go on a spree the first day i play a game.... think i get sick of it then wake up the next day thinkin fuck i wanna play thatgame!!

Its pretty tight - and yeh wes the more i play the bigger this feels....huge... and so complex. I think part of it is just the backyards bashing and running across ppl roofs and stuff - in vc it was like.... road or alleyway.... take yer pick.

In SA it has a lot of character - each neighborhood has a distinct nostalgia to it. Like that street around emmets place where you get strapped early on. Its like a real run down ghetto lookin street. I found myself quite a phew times just sittin there in mah lowrider lookin at the scenery and thinkin wat the badass conceptart must have looked like.

Speakin of which....how BAD ASS are the lowriders lol!!!

Yeh.... this game is definately cool. Only annoying thing is getting stuck in those big floodwater canals. If you lose your car its a looong walk back to a ramp lol.

One of the best things rockstar did in the whole game i think was your hood. That one dead-end street has so much character, every time i drive in under that bridge it feels different to the rest of the city. I almsot wanna climb up on the roof o my house and wait for some punk ass balla to come lookin for trouble at the wrong end of mah smg.

This game would be SO uber if it was like a mmorpg... if you could join a gang and defend your 'hood', sit on the roof and pop off enemy lowriders... if rock* ever wanted to go into the online market....thatd b the way to go.

i appluad rockstar on their work. from what ive seen so far, gtasa is the best gta yet, by FAR.

Broke into the airport by jumping over the fence with a motorbike on the back of a 'ramp' towtruck. Flew dodo to rooftop. Managed to land it on the tiny helipad (1/1000 odds). Got the parachute. Took off again in dodo. Flew across to las venturas. Got shot down by fighter jets. Parachuted on to roof of casino. Held out against swat for 7 minutes. Died. Woke up back in jefferson. Where am I?

Hey form, you know you can get to the roof of that one building by entering the door at the bottom? after getting the parachute, then you can get into the airport by driving around to the side where there's no chainlink...hopping ontop of your car and climbing over the brick wall. I flew to the vegas level and lasted all of a minute before being mowed down by swat guys.

1. landing a dodo on top = 1000x more fun, plus you can actualy navigate the thing between buildings which is fun.

2. See 1. That leer jet is good, but not so maneuverable. Me and a mate played and we actually flew the dodo right into the no fly zone at the top of the map. We flew real low and manged to avoid the missiles long enough to parachute into the military base (instant 6 stars). inside was some massive big black helicopter, but it was about 2 feet off the ground and got shot down lol. Oh well... i guess ill just have to wait to find out if an alien really did crash in san andreas.

today i got to san fiero and i found this mountain that took like 10 minutes to drive up! then i jacked this mountain bike i found at the top and hit up this cliff jump... did about 5 front flips, died on impact... it was dope, everything was blurry and shiat

i dont think thers a point to buying houses except for saving the game closer to where u are or w/e and more grage space... i think its a waste of money personally...

Once you unlock San Fiero u CANNOT take over anymore territory in los santos... taking over territory is the best way to make money, so enjoy it while it lasts.

I dont get how themoney making works with territories. Is it just themore territories you have the faster u generate cash at ur house? or do you get cash bonuses each time you take one over, or what. Also, say i claim every Balla territory, will they stop trying to take my territories back? Or will they stil attack me outta nowhere?

man im so bummed, i rushed into things and unlocked san fierro before taking over terriories and there are no territories in san fierro to take over and im supposed to go to vegas next, does anybody know if you will ever get a chance to claim terrirory again??
