I think we ought to help the admins, and all the great folks running this place get the word out about the workshop. What are some ways you guys can think of getting the word out?

***I think we need an official flyer***, with info, and the little bits at the bottom you can tear off that say "http://www.conceptart.org" on them, so people could tear them off of the flyer, and take them home and come to the site. We could post the flyer around art schools and art stores near us.

Other forums on the internet are a good place to let people know as well. I'm going to continue to hit up craigslist, but any other forums you visit would be good.

These are my ideas...anybody else got any nougats to chip in?

Lets help these guys out!

(I suck at this kind of thing, but does somebody want to make a flyer?)

I was wondering the other day if we had official conceptart.org link banners.. like a decent sized one and also a 88x31 type one? I've never seen any banners to use.

There are ton of Art schools and art stores in NYC i could definately hit up....

And i mean a TON...i also have friends who would be willing to post Workshop info up for anyone interested..

But we would need this Flyer soon...so people could have some time to collect monies...

I think the banner for the workshop website would make a good flyer. I'd just photoshop out the flash plug-in required and then have a skylight at top and bottom with a running list of the instructors. Format would probably attract attention, not being your typical 11x17 dimensions.

jetpack thats a brilliant idea. i goto a figurative arts academy once a week, and would love to tell them about this workshop but i was thinking how time consuming it was gonna be having to tell everyone about it.

A flyer that gives all the important info (place, date, website, etc), a list of the instructors and maybe a few quotes from those great testimonials would be perfect. and of course if someone could make it a seperate link so we could print them out.

The flyer/poster for Austin looked pretty cool. I'm sure that if I can plaster a few of these bad boys around it might get us new people. But we need to make this happend SOON ! People need to plan properly

You read my mind Jetpack.

Maybe I could go to kinkos and get a 30' poster to hang in front of the art building here on campus when no one's looking, that should get someone's attention. :overhere:

great. just something i feel the need to mention....a color flyer would be nice, of course, but i hope he's doing it in black and white (or a clear black and white version). i have a feeling thats what most folks would print themselves....

no doubt, he's got a handle on it. I want to get this on the bullitin board at the art store and the coffee shop!

I'll be printing out lots of copies of the flyer when it's ready. I've been trying to get some more of my artist type friends to go to this workshop also. I'll put the flyers up on bulletin boards at lots of art stores and coffeshop type places around Seattle. :tihi:

Alright now I have an excuse to sit in the corner of a busy intersection holding the flyer up, instead of my usual panhandling profession that day.
