cool ship....clean design....easy to model.


one thing to consider when concepting which he does a good example of is the surface of the ship texture.....this kind of sketching is fantastic for idea development and clarity to the modelers...texture artists also have to look at this stuff so for the next step of the production pipeline is that concept artists can do a more high resolution version showing color suggestions and overall surface textures (bump, specular, normals maps kinds of details...zbrush zbrush). For this particular concept he showed these things....smooth...shiny...etc.....how much of that you show depends on how much time you have to present the client with a clear vision down to the nitty gritty details.

nice design/rendering but i'd like to tell ya even more that i'm using energamp day in day out since it was available on dA.
before i used it's red predecessor haha.
