Okay I was looking through the katurran odyssey website because I just got that book today and was looking for more info on Terryl Whitlatch. I noticed under a part talking about the publisher it said that their current projects include Terryl Whitlatch and Iain McGaig, so I was thinking does this mean he is making a book similar to what Terryl Whitlatch did with Katurran Odyssey? Anyways I searched and I see that a website has finally been started for him. I'm pretty sure no one has mentioned this site here yet.

This is good news! Loved his stuff in the Art of Star Wars books.

Of course, isn't it possible that this is one of those "Coming Soon" pages that has been up for 6 months?

Thanks for the heads up, Madman! I hope that does 'come soon' - Iain is a complete hero.

For those that may not know, the skeletal chap on that page is from the cover of 'Casket of Souls' - a Fighting Fantasy book from 1987 which is full of Iain's stunning full-colour illustrations. I don't know if it's ever been re-issued, but it's well worth tracking down a copy if you can.

Found some small scans to give you a taste here (http://homepage.mac.com/arekkusu/FF/artw/index.html). The Casket of Souls artwork is on the right. If I remember correctly these are watercolours, too! Mind boggling.

Sorry to say but this is old, old news... the site's been in a dormant state for quite a time and had actually been meant to go live last spring. It's gone though a few iterations, and the lack of development, that we can see online, gives you an idea of how busy Iain is.

Trust me though, when it DOES go up... much will be forgiven. :-)
