Demons have been my favorite subject lately. This is a photoshop painting I just finished tonight, it took about 8-10 hours (quick painting.. had to squeeze it between comics).

I used 2 photos of myself as reference (ehm.. it was weird to re-paint my body into a woman's). I may change some stuff around later..not sure yet. Depends on what you guys think about it.

i see nothing wrong either. is it possible for you to post the reference pics, not for an sick perverted reason. I would just like to how you approached this.

Painting looks good I too can not see anything wrong. Except that the blood is running down her chest where he ripped out the flesh and the flesh is still bleeding. Maybe you could dribble some more blood down her torso. Like as he pulled it out and raised his hand the blood dripping off lands on her abdomin showing a trail, showing the movement. That is all.

Great picture. The only thing I can only say, that the devils` eyes are to far from each other.
Yeah, the refs could be nice to see. I wolud love to see Your position, hehe. :-)

well, ...

I thought about the teeth (the devilīs) in his uuper jaw.also..
The heart is sortof floating in his hand, or on the fingernails.
the girlīs left shoulder is not too fitting .
But indeed, it is very hard to see through these, and the whole thing is very convincing.. I wish I could do photoshop as well..

The first reference pic I can see the resemblance and youve done a great job of adapting that but for the life of me the second one is more amazing because it seems you had to use your imagination a bit more to get what you wanted....great stuff...

I agree with Yaseck the devils eyes seem a little too fa apart but if that is the effect you want then great..

Cant really fault it mate...my only preference would be to maybe add some ground in there somewhere, it just feels like the two figures are floating in mid air a bit....dunno thats just me maybe...tell me Im an idiot if you want...

Cheers

Robcamp: This is a nice piece -- good work! Nice lighting. The thing I would say bothers me most in the image is the color and the lack of hue contrasts. There is a nice contrast value wise, but the colors (hue&sat) sort of washes it down into a red/orange/pink/brown pool (ie; teeth look the same color as the skin, blood, etc). Value wise, I think it's missing some surface-to-surface interaction (bounce light) to fill in the character space that disappears into blackness (confusing positive/negative space) and also give a better relation and reading of the depth of the image (ie the girl's body bouncing some light onto him, etc)... bring them together as a subject.

Just my 2 cents. It's a real nice piece, your skill really shows. The male character reminds me of that guy in "The Cell". I wish I could paint characters that well.
