Great! Very atmospheric pieces!

This heart on the girls back is an awesome idea! :p

The second one looks like an old school traditional painting!

khangle you bastard, you constantly seem to impress me. This work is gorgeous, but if ya ask me, your true concept art is the really inspiring stuff.

Your concept sketches made me run off and buy real pens, Im in heaven now! thanks for inspiring.

Absolutly beautiful! I love the looseness. It is very inspiring work. Is that traditional media or digital? I'm guessing maybe digital, but I'm not too sure. Awesome stuff! Makes me wanna cry...

mmmmmm...yummy. I actually like the 2nd the most. but both have a bannana boat load full of atmosphere. One comment--in the second everything is sorta sketcht/blurry so theres no real real focul point( where do our eyes rest). this peice may just be a sketch for you --but its definitly not far from a finished peice either. thanks for letting me visit the worlds in your minds eye--ty

Excccellent....
This is exactly what I want to do with my pictures.
Only crit is that u should render the guys pants some more in the first pic,as it's in focus (or atleast in thefront of the viewer). But taht really nothing important. Mhh, I gonna try something like this straight away.... and return to these pics and probably be amazed once again.

Thanks for all the nice words from everyone and the time you guys took for the replies. I had a lot of fun reading through them :) Me and some friends are going to the APE independent comicbook convention in San Francisco on Saturday and Sunday. We're gonna have our own little table to sell random junks (mini comic books, some of my painting prints, post cards...) So if you're in the area, come and hang out with us :)

Here are some replies to your replies :

Yaseck I like the background and the lightning on the first pic. I like also the atmosphere of the second piece. Great work, pal.

- cool:) I had a tough time separating the background since at there is no form night time, just patterns of dark and light.

- Thats the best part about painting these scenes, I really do feel like I'm there. In the sun or neon light and see all the visual rhythm.

- hehehe...my friends said the same thing, I think I added too much details for the blimp thing.

-its painter 6, I learned everything from watching Ryan Church. I only recently use Painter, I've been a Photoshop man before that.

Theo khangle you bastard, you constantly seem to impress me. This work is gorgeous, but if ya ask me, your true concept art is the really inspiring stuff.

-thanks I'll post some more spaceships and robots here next week!

-thanks, the heart idea was just a way to get some light into the shadow and the color is a compliment of the guy buttons so it adds some interactions between the characters.
