You know the thing that is so good about your work aleksi...is that you understand how to make good art and you also understand how to arrange it and what background to set it on...you have a painter's eye and a graphic designer's eye as well. I am always amazed with your stuff.

Actually, it's really how I see the work.
An illustration done for publication always works with graphic design and i try as often as I can to work also on this. For me it's part of the final picture... And indeed I really like graphic design. I'm just certainly less skilful with it ( even if i've studied it at school and not illlustration )
how many times, working for printed stuff you get back the final thing and it didn't work together
For me, it's maybe the same "essence" of the work : produce an image that looks good
