Fighter version of Star Wars Episode 1 landing craft. Designed for a fan film project based in the Star Wars universe set just before Episode 1. The top image is rendered in Tria markers and pen. The bottom image is a digital painting created in photoshop. This was used to give the 3D guys a texture reference for the fighter plane.

Nice painting! I totally thought it was 3d rendering.
I feel the design has the feeling of typical airplane proportion and silhouette. You should explore and push it farther, perhaps to another universe.
Nice overall though.

It's beautiful. It has a nice oldskool feel to it, too. Great textures and original drawing, there.

Uuh, that rendering looks like a photo of a model dude. I can't commend the rendering any more than that. The design, also, is a nice blend between the frigates and an old-skool fighter plane! For whatever reason, I can see that thing in the sky. I'm convinced, my hats off to you >:D

Wow. Amazing textures on the digipaint. I'd love to see some detail shots. I'll probably learn a lot from looking at em. Great work!

The renderd one is very impressive, but why are the guns gone? They really gave it a Star Wars vibe in the sketch and I would love to see them in the rendered version. If we were able to see some of the details in the cockpit would also be nice.

How'd you do that?

Wonderful execution on this piece!
I do feel some echoes of elements of Slave II crossed with elements of Sebulba's racing pod and a touch of Noobian fighter.
I think it meshes wonderfully with the feel and the look of the Star Wars Universe..nothing jarring or out of place at all. Huzzah!
