well i like the perspective of the first pic. My advice would be to use reference. when you dont use reference for a mans face or a sunny sky---it shows. paint from stuff you see-- it could be as simple as finding a picture of a sky online and bringing it into photoshop and having it next to your original painting as you work. keep painting!!--ty

Well, he did use reference on the first pic. It's from an online movie.

I like the second one - maybe the lighting is off, but... I still like it.
