Though it was on friday, and some of you may have heard about it, Richard Avedon, perhaps the most well known and influential photographer of the twentieth century, died on friday, at 81. He was an influential artist no matter how you look at it. Though he was a photographer, as opposed to a concept artist, he made a mark on pop culture, albeit several decades ago, which is why I figured I'd make a post.
