Being a proud Australian Im both ashamed and angered to find out this happened in my country, the fact that its happening anywhere is bad enough but being in my home land makes it worse. They must be some Fucked up parents. :frustrated:

Edit: I should probably lighten up tho considering I've smoke the stuff:bashful: (atleast I was 19 on my first try)... and don't think poorly of Aussies... not all of us are reckless, irresponsible, crocodile wrestling, redneck, drug addicts :P.

( i didnt read the article or any of that but..heres my 2cent)

I first smoked cigarette and got hammered at like 8 yrs old.. smoked weed at 9.

Today i dont do any drugs and i occasionaly take a beer when the time comes along.. im doing great at school and in my social life.. im not retarded and have tons of buddies and one great girl. I was very active after all.. went thru almost all the sports.

You never know what will happen, maybe i got lucky because i moved alot at one point and maybe things could of been different for me but.. dont judge the kids.. tell them what's worth to be lived for.

( 5 is very young though i have to admit.. parents? )

One of the main problems with kids of that age smoking pot is that there's still a lot of brain developement. I don't condone any kids doing drugs or drinking to the point of getting hammered (even I had a few sips of beer), but at that age doing bong hits, I can only guess she'll have some developmental and motor skills issues later on.

The fact that her sisters are 9 and 13 and doing the same sort of says that the parents don't care. Pretty depressing.

Happy Camper: I've been to Australia twice now, totaling over 6 months in your country. I can assure the world that Aussies are some of the nicest best people in the world! Plus they love to drink (Gawdammit! I can't get no XXXX, or Vic Bitter up here!), and so do I! ;)

Depresses the shit out of me.. I thought I'd seen the extremes of poor judgement, but obviously I haven't. Explaining cause and effect to parents like that prob wouldn't work. They'd have to care about their children first.
