Conceptual life drawing dump

Here's some drawings from my sketchbook. My scanner is too small for the 11"X14" book so these pages are cropped, which is kind of cool because some of them turned out looking better.

I sketched this lady on the bus and then brushed in the forms later with the orange wash.

This was a skating event with a hundred plus teeny-bopers swarming the ramps.

A guitarist at the skate event. I gestured the drawing with my non-dominant hand and then refined it with my right hand. I wanted to incorporate some writing description into it. Its fun to write a little about the atmosphere.

A demo skater. I got him to sign the sketch at the bottom. Hopefully he'll get super famouse and I'll be an e-bay millionaire!

A portrait of my friend. I messed up on the anatomy/proportions, but I think it has a nice quality to it, (But of course I'm going to say that about my own drawing!)

Girl hearing a lecture in art class. She was actually cute, but my sketch of her makes her look like a pig freak.

I gestured the shadows with the blue brush and then finished the sketch with the brown pens. Note the eyeball in the stomach.

Another attempt at gesturing the shadows first. The porportions are f***ed up and the forms are disjointed, but again, I think the sketch and composition look cool. And he has a stomach eye!

I like this one because it reminds me of a Yoshitaka Amano, (Final Fantasy/ Vampire Hunter D), drawing.
