I tried coloring this portion of a bot sketch that i did. I know it looks very prometheus like, but I guess it happened cuz I was staring at the stuff on your site, and tried figuring out how you do it. Anyways, I need your help. What is it that i'm missing? color combinations? tones? shadows? what?

It's not that I want to imitate your style, but I love the way you render in photoshop, and I just try and try and can't get it right.:bars:

Can you show me or teach me, if you've got the time, what it is that I miss when I paint something? I ask for your help cuz I really want to learn and get better.

Hope to get a response from you soon! or anybody else for that matter!!!

well what do you think is wrong with it in the first place? don't you want something original. rather than copying someone elses style? Use the style as an influence but dont copy it. :p
(thats a general statement. not neccessarily directed to just you)

Yes, taht's true, but cuz I was inspired out came this lame excuse of a robot, that I wanted to know how he does it. Just to learn, not to copy!

I've had a lot of ppl asking me to write something tutorialish for a while now, so I wrote a brief one. I got a really large tutorial growing inside my massive WIP folder, but that one will be a while.

Anyhow, the tut is in the LIFE DRAWING, LEARNING & TECHNIQUES section. I hope it'll answer some of your questions.
