crystal artifact (changed update)

ok just finished this up tonight, its some left over tech among the ruins surround by snow etc. its part of a large idea i have, for now its heading into the colour section of the old folio.

the new crystal looks much better, the older one looked out of perspective.

hm, it doesn't look very snowy - the snow needs to have more volume, right now it just looks like the lighting in the scene is really bright.

cool and star crafty like!.. you have a cool style that im noticing more and more.
may want to throw shadows being cast from the 3 "finger" like guards

I like it so far but I think it needs to be a little sharper, and have more detail. Like fin detail I mean. As of now, everything looks kinda rounded and friendly. Ithink it'd look much better with more corners and little cracks and other minute details.

i worked up the snow more and have it cover more ground and flowing around the objects more.

thanks noose, the next one is already underway , the colour wash/rough is up already, should take a day or two to get it squared away. still 3 colour images down, 12 more to go .
