WHere do you think i could buy Prismacolor pencils in France ?
I am pretty sure they are not sold around ... but maybe some web page are selling them online ?
or what brand of color pencil would you suggest me instead ?
and another question, what is the name for "newsprint" paper in france, and where could i buy loads of it ?

i'm, not french but i share similar problems as i'm from germany.
jester recently found out about colored pencils with the name "sanford karisma" that are exactly the same as prismacolors are. they are about 1.20€ per piece if i remember correctly.
i don't know if they are available in france but i guess they are.
since prismacolor pencils don't export to europe, i don't think the karisma pencils are germany exclusive but the european replacement.
as for newsprint... babelfish told me newsprint is the kind of paper newspapers are printed on but i never saw newspapers with that slightly brownish color the newsprint pieces of andrew jones show. i only know grayish newspaper-paper...

you can find the "Sanford Karisma" in Great Britain, too, so there´s a chance that you can get them in France.

*rakes brain* bah it's friday I can't remember anything. That's what instant-messaging and friends are for ! I asked a friend where exactly to buy and will get back at you for this.
Now as for the newsprint paper, are you refering to brownish sketching paper ?

and for the paper, i think yes, cheap brownish sketching paper, i just dont know where i can buy this in france ...
every art store only sell expensive papers
