Wow. Exceptionally well done.
So well done in fact that that may be their "weak point".
What I mean is that 'some people' will say something like "well, you might as well have taken photos instead".
I know, 'cause I've heard it about my own work. Although I must confess I was never as good as this...
I haven't seen any of your other work before posting this, but I would give you the same advice I have got myself: If you want to really get a good reaction out of people(especially other artists), you should rather create images that tell a story, and not "just copy" a photo.
That is not a crit of your work though. Just something I've heard myself, and perhaps it's good advice.
'Cause with the kind of talent you have, you could draw just about anything. :)
I have no crits about the above drawings otherwise. They are very well done.

Beautiful rendering especially on the 1st one..I love anything that has some kick-but rendering. I dont even notice the subject matter or the composition etc there's something of an artform in just rendering..especially if it's done by hand no smudging or digital or air brush. Its truly a craft all its own.
my 2 cents

well, these are some of the best use of reference I have seen. I mean, you know, I have never seen any of these photos out there, or anything, gosh no...well, anyway, there seems to be a life and verve there that is not present in the photos...excuse me A photo...*ahem*...anyway, perhaps the excellent pencil rendering, or perhaps a certain discretion was used in the drawings, I dont know, but I really like them...nice work! :)

Its hard but I'm getting the hang of it....

Well John P. a lot of folks do not understand the skill involved, The process and steps taken to achive the "LOOK"
For me the excitement of creating it is well worth it ...

Hey, I agree. Personally I think this is as good an artform as any, but I just said some people don't view it that way.
But to me, it's art whether you do this, or say draw still life of some fruit on a plate, or draw a naked woman on a sofa, or draw a monster in gritty surroundings or whatever.
To me art can be many things, but i'm a sucker for a job well done, even if it doesn't have a deeper meaning or story.
The reason I even mentioned it, was that I think some artists don't feel that way.
