a couple new images...

description for christ:
.Christ v2. .Expiation Machine.

"37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets,
and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would
I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth
her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate."

-->i'm becoming obsessed with christ art and the idea of creating
torrents of ICON-esque christ images. i drew this one with a
stack of pastels, chillin' @ little 5 points with my girlfriend,
sippin' on go-go coffee.

description for ELF:
preface:
"And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth..."#

A vampire's prayer:

Savior,
speak to me.
Comfort me.
Take from me the ardent sting.
The sting I feel
when I look inside
and see nothing.

May thy blood
sate me
and
take from me
the sins
i commit
but to live.

Amen.

"For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment..."* then what hope bare we, the sinners unto whom the Kiss of Night has fallen?

Father bound us in Chains of Darkness, our once brothers, the Two-Thirds, have delivered us unto Chains of Blood...

#:Rev 12/4
*:2Peter 2/4

___________

both were done in cheap oil pastel...then "aquired" into painter for detail work.

cheers.

These are nice. I think that the first one could use some extra highlights and contrast between light and dark in the upper torso. The second one has a more interesting compostion, but again, it is lacking those lights and darks in the upper body of your figure. I can tell that the light source is coming from the upper right, but I think you need to make it more apparent with strong shadows and dark areas to help pull out your forms.
