Hi there!
This is my first post here, and happy to see so much great and inspiring stuff happening here!....
thought you might like to see an oil painting of mine from some time back - it was short-listed for a competition here in the UK called 'Not the Turner Prize Exhibition' this year, tho' normally I'm more caricature and cartoon inclined; crits welcome :) later....

bRØk3n_sPiRiT: Hey thanks! appreciate it ;) the lighting and the the richness of their skin pallour is what inspired me for this...

rI-n: Wow! Your wife's Mongolian - I can expect some first hand criticism then - heh heh! I'll look foward to that, and thanks:teeth:

Thanks, y'all - did this painting when I was pretty young 'an ignorant- about techniques per se - liquitex base (almost subliminal!) with heavy (yes, heavy!) oil overlalys to finish scraped over with hard brushes -----colour and tonal balance helps shroud my other inadequacies ;)
