What the heck is the honorable critic medal?

I've seen a new little icon under certain members names like davi, Manley, Prom, Jdinx and I'm sure there are others.
Will there be other medals being given out or anything of this sort?
btw, who decides who gets em? I'm assuming its the admnis that hand em out....I'm just curious i guess :bashful:

i think that award is lame cause alot of people that should have it dont, like you i.was and eagerie etc..

they should have other medals to be displayed below people's names. Here are a few ideas.

"wurst spelar evar" medal: Pretty self explanitory

"OMG I hav 2b a TROLL!!!!! LOL" medal: You who you are.

"STFU N00BZ" Medal: For people who jump at the first opportunity to flame others for posting their threads in the wrong forum.

"OMG U KICK A$$$" medal: for those who don't crit but instead spew uninteligable praise. The Cheerleaders of conceptart.org if you will. there's no shame in this as we all do it once in a while.

"Not a pro yet but I'm still pretty friggin cool" medal: For those who kick ass but for some strange reason, are not making the money they deserve.

"Art-God" medal: This one is self explanitory as well.

Kramer medal: for the quirky and sometimes annoying CA personalties who rarely post any art but are funny enough for us to love them anyway.

Seems kind of stupid to me...maybe we should save these medals for when the results of the Annual Concept Art Awards are released. It seems really biased if the moderators give out the medals (especially when some of the moderators have these awards).

I'm sure it's a lengthy process going and giving the medals to everyone that deserves them...but hey, you've all gone this long without them, no harm in being a li'l patient!

I think there should be medals for top 3 TDome competitors too...going way back.

there are on some of the admins/mods because it's in testing stage...and it will be changed in the future and given to more members.

we will have to do some hardcore coding to make the medals work better in the future.

i am not making medals for hundreds of people to have, i have people begging me for personal titles, moving threads, and other fixes all the time, The medals will be selective to those that have helped the forum out to a high degree.

ah, makes sense if ur testing them, i personally dont care for titles i think a custom title is pointless but i do think those worthy deserve ackowledge ment so then the eye balls are a cool idea
