Hmm..interesting image..
I really like the style in which you did the liquid environment, as well as the tones you chose..very old school yet fresh look to it =)
On the other hand, the main guy could use some work in my opinion.
I may be wrong, and it is likely that I am, but it seems to me that either his head is too small for his body, or his body is too big for his head =).
In addition, his arms seem mighty skinny, or at least his right arm does..because hes wearing that armored suit and yet the arm is the same size it normally would be..
Also, I realize that this may have been a concious decision that you like, in which case I urge you to keep it how it is, but I wish there was more definition in his legs, as now they seem to blend together as well as creating a very odd stance for him.
Im sorry Im not too good at explaining myself well, and I wish I could help more..but I often have trouble really putting my finger on what it is about an image that is irking me..
Yah, you know, Ive got this condition..its called...inexperience and lack of skill..or something =P

Anyways, keep up the good work man!
