Hi there, I'm a bit of a newbie, but please hear me out.
Here's a pic I'm almost finished. It's Link from The Legend of Zelda Nintendo game and he is being restored by a fairy. It's not as good as some of the stuff I've seen in these forums, but I am quite pleased with it with the exception of one thing. The legs. You get the gist of the pose I am trying to achieve. Is it working? If not, how could I change it?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help :)

looks pretty cool

the legs... it doesnt look like he's balancing well on those. it looks like he's gonna fall flat on his face...

...maybe if you curved his "skirt" the other direction (and make it a bit longer ;) ) and give his knees a bit more highlight... then i hope he'll look like he's kneeling with balance....

i noticed that you mixed the oldschool link with newschool....

good stuff

Hey thanks for the help fozzybar and WhackZero. I tried to implement your ideas as best I could and I think they made a significant difference. Anyway, here's the final pic if you wanna see:
