Hi,

Just thought I'd pop by to show you my first 'nearly' completed dragon. Made out of Fimo with a wingspan of about 12 inches or so.

I really like what I'm seeing so far but your images are GIANORMOUS. Any way to resize them? It's hard to really crit when they're so huge.

Good morning,

Sorry, I apologise for the size of the previous images - I've resampled & resized them so hopefully they should be a bit more user friendly. Let's see....

Yep they seem to link to better sized images.

Willow-whisp, thanks for the hint - don't want to stop people at the first hurdle. Here's a link which might interest you - might not but worth a try

Many thanks & best regards to all

MUCH better.

The gesture really give me a feel for the amount of work this guy has to do to get airborne; I can really see him chugging and huffing along. I like the musculature on the legs as well. *takes notes*

My only crit would be that the scales do not seem integrated with the skin, they look just kinda like balls of flesh sitting on top of the skin. That's really the only part of this piece that takes me out of the moment.

And thanks for the link - I've never seen the cartoon but I have heard of it. Seems like one of those campy cartoons that only the children of the 80s can really love. *Hugs her Last Unicorn DVD andlistens to the MASK theme song* It's not where my user name originated, though :)

Thanks willow-whisp, it's kind of you to stop by.

Good call on the scales - you've got me thinking now, which is good. Perhaps I should have melted them at the edges a bit more - using lighter fliud. I'll do a bit of research on scaly beast.

Had a look round your site - nice dolls.

Have you seen the work of Angela Talbot at all?

If not

If so, spooky isn't it?
