Space-age assassin

Here's a character I've been working on, incorporating my whole EVS suit ideas I've been playing around with.

He's sort of a space-age gestapo, hessian type. I purposely made his head a little disproportionate to make him seem more in-human and menacing. I was also fooling around with some armor ideas and decide to compose his armor entirely of thick straps to give him more of a gothic look. I think I'll also color the armor entirely black later on.

might want to work on the proportions, his legs need work. the femur bone on a human body is about two heads long. the lower leg looks about right, but the upper leg needs some length. It will get there just need to work on your body proportions and perspective a bit.

I see a definite resemblance to the alien in . . . uh . . . Alien.
Perhaps you should embrace this and add similar surreal, mind-bending details.

Yeah, I think I wanted the whole sureal look and I originally intended to make his limbs a lot thinner too. That wouldn't have worked out though since a person should probably be able to fit in the suit.

I have another marker version I just did so I'll put up that one tonight or tomorrow. Basically, i wasn't satysfied with the chest-armor and those things on his legs that look like chaps. I also have some weapons for him too that I did just for fun... hell, who am I kidding?...It was all just for fun.

okay, i think you have a good start to something. nice designs. my question is this... what makes him an assassin? i don't see anything that seperates this from any other space suit... especially nothing that makes me think this guy is gonna go out and kill someone for money.

one thing that i'm not buying, if he is an assassin, is his suit. i don't feel an assassing would wear something that bulky. i think he would want something he could sneak around in. also, i see no weapons for the assassination he's about to commit. neither does his body language say he's that type of person.

just my thoughts. i do like the suit, but not necassarily for an assasin. good job and keep pushing.

las note... i do agree with malvado... his legs are a little short... but not too bad, what makes it seem even more so is that his feet are also small. remember, feet are approximately the same length as from the wrist to the elbow. i'm a full believer, when it comes to feet, bigger looks cooler... again, personal preference here.
